Had an amazing trip. Captain Brandon and his puppy first mate gave us an amazing chartered fishing trip. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and just an all around good guy. Showed us how to catch the fish and knew exactly where to put us at. After we caught our 29 fish out of 30 that we were allowed he cleaned, filleted and put them in bags for us. Highly recommend booking with Destin Bay Charters! Thanks again Captain Brandon.

Don’t hesitate to book, it’s worth the money to spend the day with someone who knows what they are doing. Captain Brandon will make sure you come back with fish. He even cleans it for you. My son loved it!

I've been both deep sea & bay fishing for the past 25 years along the gulf coast from Orange Beach, Gulf Shores to Panama City and Destin. They have usually always been business trips with good friends & after fishing with Captain Brandon Wright 15 years ago...I've never fished with ANYONE ELSE!! He has even lined up other boats for my crew when we've had big groups & he made it easy by handling everything together to simplify everything for our company. One of the best things about fishing with Brandon is THE MAN KNOWS HIS STUFF....we don't go "fishing"...we go "catching"! When weather & tide conditions are unfavorable He still makes sure we have fun & exhausts every option to make sure we catch fish...He takes it personal if our guys aren't catching fish because he wants us to provide us with the best possible experience....The same values our company was built on! Looking forward to my next outing with Captain Brandon!

We had an awesome fishing trip! Captain Brandon was great with our children as well as being a very professional fisherman! We crushed the redfish! Yippie!

My group of friends get together every year to go out fishing and we were told Brandon with Destin Bay Charters was the best captain in Destin. He lived up the that claim and we would never go with anyone else. He always puts fish in the boat no matter what time of year. He knows all the top spots for all different types of fish. Very accommodating with nice equipment ready to go. Has plenty of live bait ready and ready to bait your hooks so all you do is just enjoy reeling in fish. You can tell Capt. Brandon has fished the area a long time, has great knowledge, love for fishing, and showing guests a great time. We cant wait for the next time we get to fish with Captain Brandon. Always a trip of a lifetime with many great memories. Thanks Capt. Brandon.

First time fishing with this company. Brandon Wright must have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed. Very rude and arrogant. Ended up not fishing because he was so unpleasant. Used another company and had a great experience. If we ran our business that way, we wouldn’t have a business. Check around. Don’t settle. There are many other companies that are MUCH better.

First of all I'm sorry the trip did not work out . I've been doing this for 18 years and have never had to take someone back to the dock . I run over 300 charters a year an have never meet someone I had to turn down my service to. You stated that we did not end of fishing because I was rude and arrogant which is not why we didn't fish . We didn't fish because I ended your trip . I'm glad you had a good trip with someone else .

Wow, where do I start! We fished twice with Brandon this year after fishing once with him last year. Red snappers were out of season, but we caught so many fish we were so giddy we really didn’t care. The first day was so windy and waves so big the big boats didn’t go out, but we fished in-shore. Brandon knows all the spots! Lots of Black snapper and Redfish. We caught our limit, but we caught a whole lot more that first day we had to put back.
Our second trip this week was in the gulf to a secret wreck where we caught monster redfish. Most were too big and had to be put back, but we easily caught our limit of big reds that were within the limits. It was ridiculous how many fish we caught this year with Brandon!
Brandon was fantastic with our young teens, and adapted to their needs. He explains things well, tells fun, entertaining stories to keep the kids intrigued and really kept my son engaged with marine biology info. He is fantastic with keeping lines baited and our lines in the water, even with two adults and two kids.
Schedule early or you will be disappointed, his calendar fills up fast!

Brandon was amazing. He was on time (actually early) and ready to go. He was very knowledgeable and easy to chat with. We were on fish in no time and didn't stop the whole trip. We saw dolphin and hooked a shark for fun. We joked our arms would be sore the next day from all the fish we drug in. It really was a great time with all the credit going to our great guide. I would highly recommend!

Had an absolute blast catching fish with Brandon and my family. This was my first time out (thanks to the patch for motion sickness) and I caught a 25+ lb red snapper!!! AWESOME!!! This was definitely my kinda fishing...he baited the hook every time and took the fish off for us...I didn't have to do anything lol!!! While taking us back he showed us where the sharks were and we just happened to have a up close and personal encounter with a Dolphin! My daughter (12) loved that part. We had so much fun we went back the next day! This guy knows his hot spots and will not disappoint! See ya next time we're in town Brandon!!

We went on the early morning family tour - 3 hours with all gear provided, catch and release only. Our captain was very knowledgeable of the various spots where the fish would bite and baited everyone's hooks. He was personable and shared a lot of background on the local fish and fishing trade. The only surprising thing was that this was the "family trip" and some of the music playing on the boat was not appropriate. He was quick to skip songs once he realized some of the language but I would have hoped that might have been taken care of ahead of time given the target client base.
