$15 per person to rent a tube. It's approximately a 2 hr float if you do not stop along the way. Friendly staff. All of the tubes are the same so if you prefer a larger tube bring your own. There are a few rocky spots so I would recommend water shoes if you plan on swimming or snorkeling.

We enjoyes our trip down the river. We saw an otter and lots of fish. I would recommend Nature Queat for tubing. This is the second time we visited this establishment. The only drawbback is that the staff does not tell you what to do after you exit the river. You walk your float up a lomg walkway and drop it off. Then you walk a bit further back to your car. There is a $2 fee for them to hold your key.

I did not have any of the unpleasant experiences that many people mention. Many people were tubing the weekday my daughter and I went. Everything was well organized and run well. River was beautiful. Only thing I might recommend is suggestions on what to do if you overrun the get out spot. Although we began steering toward the dock as soon as we saw the suggested landmark, if another couple had not been there to catch us, we might have floated on past.

Staff was nice and helpful. This was much more organized than the last trip. Plenty of tubes, shuttles were working and everything was much more organized. The river is beautiful. I wish people that smoke while tubing would keep their cigarette butts. There were quite a few polluting the lovely river.

My daughter and her two children and I enjoyed a 2+ hour float down the Rainbow River. Most of the trip one can see the bottom. I was happy I wore my water shoes because my 5 year-old granddaughter refused to get on her tube at first and if I hadn't jumped in (kinda mucky bottom), my grandson and I would have been way ahead by the time my daughter convinced her it would be fun. Everything was great after that and we proceeded to leisurely float to the exit point. Next time we will bring a rope so we can join the tubes together.
Lots of kayakers, snorkelers, and some pontoon boats( they must go ultra slow so as to not create a wake). The 72 degree water was refreshing since we tubed in the early afternoon and the temps were in the high 80's.

When we arrived, we had to wait at the window because the employee was watching cartoons on the computer! He was surly, not helpful and could have cared less about us. Second employee showed up with the tram to take us to the tubing launch. They posted a "Be back in 10 minutes" sign on the window while they were both watching cartoons! We waited for over 25 minutes for them to decide to drive our group to the tubing launch. The river was so spectacular, I hesitate to say anything bad about the experience, but really, guys...You were awful. $15 was the cost for tube and tram ride. No discount for having your own tube. Ending ramp was disgusting...trash everywhere. Along this pristine river. What a shame.

We didn't have to wait in line. There were plenty of tubes available. We walked back from the tube exit, not far, but I was happy I had flip flops with me. We take ropes and a mesh bag with us so we can tie tubes together and our belongings to them.

This was a great way to go for us. Party of 4 that didn't want to be separated by kayaks. On premise; so no shuttle was needed only your legs to walk from the $2 entrance and a helpful friendly staff. The canoe for 4 drew us here and we couldn't be happier. In minutes we were off on our adventure with little effort and lots of fun. It's very reasonable in pricing and not having to deal with being shuttled to or fro is a huge plus. After your choice of time-frame you can still enjoy all that the Rainbow River has to offer. We enjoyed a picnic lunch then afternoon swim before heading home from a great adventure. Deciding where to rent next trip is not a no-brainer. Thank you for a wonder time!!

This was my first trip to this beautiful springs and my last to this particular method for tubing if I can find another source. The lady selling the tickets was very rude, gave contrary directions, and seemed total incapable of handling what appeared to be some sort of emergency she was not directly involved in, and the refunding of fees when the area came under severe weather. Thankfully, another staff member stepped in and got things straightened out to some degree (I'm still waiting for the refund to be credited back to my bank).
If my only complaint was the ticketing, I would have rated this at least an average experience, but several other problems occurred, including the tram leaving without allowing the folks who didn't want to enter the river with lightening strikings throughout the area. Again, it came back, but it was obvious there was no policy in place to deal with weather safety issues.
If you can find another place/establishment to rent tubes and enjoy the springs, do so.

The whole experience was a mess. When we finally got to the right spot, it took almost an hour from parking to buying the ticket to the tram finally moving.
The lady at the ticket counter is rude, and not knowledgeable at all. It started pouring down rain, which I was not mad at them about. Nobody controls the rain. But, after waiting and waiting, we get soaked on the tram ride, and decided to get our money back and go back the next day. Here is where it gets interesting. You buy tickets through a counter, where they have a window. We were behind a family, and as they were asking for their money back the lady closed the window, and was on the phone. When she finally came back she was trying to get all of our attention as she is literally whispering. I have NO clue what she was trying to tell us, but we literally could not hear her. Keep in mind we are soaking wet and freezing at this point. She pulled out a whistle and blew it, and it still didn't get anyones attention, and you couldn't hear a word she was saying. By the time we got to the window my mom was explaining that we needed a refund, but wanted to come back the next day. The lady rudely said that all she needed to know was if we needed a refund. I had already said 4 times that we just needed a refund. She then said she would not deal with me, shut the window. Made us go to the other window. She finally gave us our money back. It was a mess to say the least. So we spent 2 hours there, no tubing, and the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was happy to go back the next day until this incompetent lady was so rude to us.
It looks beautiful, even though we didnt get to see anything. My advice is go to Rainbow Springs, just use any other company!
Also, they don't allow disposable bottles, so bring your own, or you will spend $10 for a bottle that now reminds me of a horrible trip.
