A lot of interesting woodwork that comprises the bar at the oldest running saloon in Florida. Tin work in the ceiling accents the woodwork. Located one block up from visitors center in the historic district of Fernandina Beach makes it a great place to quench your thirst and absorb a little history. Try an age old favorite drink from the bar called “pirates punch” to take the edge off from your long day and kick off the evening right.

Tin ceilings and great wood carvings. Friendly bartender. Nice drafts including Guinness, lots of liquors. Worth the look whilst quenching your thirst

What an unfortunate way to treat a historic icon. This place hasn’t been kept up for quite a while. The bar boy didn’t want to be troubled to tell customers there was no table service, even while he was bussing the tables. They have drinks and history. The atmosphere is one of a hangout for the employees who had much to catch up on. Enjoy Fernandina Beach, but leave this poor tired bar off your list.

Strong, tasty rum punch. 12 or so draft beers that run the gambit from popular domestics, Guinness, and a few local craft breweries. Comfortable bar stools for sure. We stopped because, well, you should as it is the oldest bar. One drink and done.

A really cool place - oldest bar in FL! There’s a pirate at the front door that you can take a picture with. The drinks are tasty and the service is good. There’s a long bar you can sit at and some tables and chairs along the windows as well.

My last bar for this tour. It is in a very BUSY area. Just lucky enough to find a parking spot near it. Lots of stores and restaurants in area. They do not have any food, so I could not get my stomach full!! Very busy place so bartender was busy not much talk. Neat old place.

Had to stop in and try the Pirate Punch. Not too bad but let me tell ya - 20 minutes later whew! I certainly felt it!! Lol. Really neat historic bar. If only the walls could talk!

Since it is the oldest bar in FL we had to stop in. One bartender was very friendly and our service was good. She told us the history of the bar even tho she was very busy.

We had stopped in earlier in the week hoping to have some drinks and an appetizer, but there is no kitchen. We returned before our vacation was over to have a nightcap. The bartender was prompt and courteous. There was live music on this particular night and the artist was quite good. Unfortunately, not enough of the drinkers were paying any attention to his talent. You can see the history here from the decor and artifacts around the bar. Supposedly there since 1903. You have to go and have at least one to say you drank in the oldest saloon in Florida.
