The establishment is simple and well appointed. The hostess offered samples galore. She was friendly and entertaining. I came for the tour and to try the brand. I was not offered the tour, neither was it mentioned. I did purchase bottles of what I sampled. Let's see if the recipes I was given replicate what I sampled.

Every time I am in Fernandina Beach, I make sure to make a stop at
Marlin &Barrel Distillery. The spicy vodka is incredible and makes the most perfect Bloody Mary. They've expanded their selection while maintaing top notch quality that it's difficult not to bust the budget. So good!

We absolutely loved stopping by this quaint distillery. The pepper vodka makes the BEST bloody Mary’s. The owner was our tasting expert. She was very informative about the distillery but also answered our questions about the area. We will be back. Stop by and check it out!!!

Shannon was the BEST!!! Very knowledgeable about the products. Friendly and even gave advice about places to eat. Rum and Bourbon was great! Try it and you won’t be sorry!!

What a great time! We were visiting friends who live in Fernandina Beach and decided to stop in after seeing the free tasting sign. The bar was packed, but we found an open table. Shannon never missed a beat! She was great with information about the spirits we were tasting and spread lots of jokes at our expense. Way too much fun! We enjoyed a couple of the "cellos". The Bearing Espresso Rum and Shoreline Bourbon were very good. Well worth a stop, and for us a return visit when we next come to Fernandina Beach.

Local distillery with personal touches. Decided to stop in right before heading back home. So glad we did. Young lady really explained the different types of alcohol available and of course you get a tasting. We walked out with 4 bottles. Guess they’re doing something right

We rented out the facility for a work party--the staff were so helpful, especially Shannon, and she had good recommendations for catering and even a photographer. The barrel room for the party was way more fun than any conference room. Highly recommend Marlin and Barrell. They went to great length to have the tables set up, a wonderful open bar and they made the party a place our guest really enjoyed.

We stumbled upon the Distillery around 2pm and it was open for touring and tasting. I think since this is still a one-man business, the hours fluctuate. It may be good to call if you are coming at a specific time.
