Drink Price Shock!!
2019年11月
Venue itself for seeing live performances is ok. Sound is good. It can be hard to find a place for a good view. The bartender was very friendly service was good but I opened up a tab and was in complete shock when I closed it. I have NEVER paid so much for a drink in bar. We were drinking Jack Daniels and Tito's which both garnered a premium up charge. Ordered doubles but $25 each? Wow!

Stellar

I went to see Nahko & The Medicine People. Stellar performance. The venue itself has been around so long & they have done such great renovation over the years. They need to touch up on the sound a bit but other than that, it was AMAZING! The overall level of service could be spiced up a little bit & the prices were per decent.

Thank you Revolution & Nahko & The Medicine People. I do wish that Nahko & his Team replied a bit more to their social media profiles but I guess I understand why they might not.

Hope to see you in Vegas when I’m back in a week.

Attending a Concert
2019年2月 • 夫妻情侣
Best be in good physical shape to attend this venue....ramps, stairs, railings, crowds and that's even before the start of the music! A concert where we spent 4 hours standing with no place to sit....there isn't any chairs... unless you get there early and grab a stool at the bar (5 drinks over $100). Super loud, dirty and dangerous in case of an emergency.

Good place for a show, can hold a large crowd but no seats, with good sound but had affordable drinks and service.

Terrible experience.

We went to a JJ Grey & Mofro show at Revolution Live in December 2018. I am not being critical of the show itself just the venue.

I have been attending live shows for over 40 years, I've been to stadiums and dive bars all over the USA and Europe. For me, the best rock & roll shows are always in small, sweaty venues with plenty of crowd atmosphere...but there is a limit. Revolution Live crosses the acceptable threshold.

In my opinion, this place is dangerous. It was massively overcrowded on the night we went, to the point where it was impossible to move through the venue or get anywhere near the bar. Anybody trying to get from A-B was pushed and shoved around and the tension in the room caused by overcrowding was palpable. Staff were ignoring crazy drunks who were causing havoc. Twice I saw fights start because of this. It was almost impossible for me (I'm 6' 1") to see the stage because it was 5/6 people deep at the rails overlooking the massively overcrowded "pit" which is directly in front of the stage.

People were climbing/falling over railings because the stairways were jammed and remained so throughout the show, there was no effort to clear them by the staff. Two teenage girls stood next to us left before the show started because they were extremely scared and could see literally nothing.

If there was an "incident" in this venue which led to a mass panic I have no doubt there would be tragic consequences. It was that bad. Our "escape route" which I seriously planned because I felt so concerned would have been to leap over the bar and hope to sit it out because there was zero chance of reaching an exit (or even the restrooms) in any sort of orderly manner.

I will never visit this venue again. I am amazed it retains a licence.

I'm not in the habit of writing bad reviews following a one-off visit but on this occasion, I feel that people need to be aware of what you are likely to experience if you buy a ticket for this venue on a busy night. This place was not good.

Been going here since the early 90s. I don't understand why everybody complains. Great venue. Easy parking, Easy in easy out. Easy to get drinks. Easy to go to front of the stage even if packed. I think the concerts satisfaction depends on the crowd. Bartenders were all nice, everybody was fine.

Parents PSA: DO NOT LET YOUR KIDS GO INTO THIS DEATH TRAP
2018年9月 • 好友
How this place continues to maintain any accredited safety licenses to stay open is beyond me. There are obvious Fire Marshall and security violations occurring throughout and are being flat ignored.

The entrance to the concert area is through a women’s restroom from a separate bar area, which is not cleaned or cleared beforehand (some ladies lined up inside). When the doors open, security simply steps aside and allow mass ciaos to ensue including pushing, shoving, and even trampling. They do not talk or motion to the crowd. They just smile and laugh as if this is amusing to watch. There is ZERO effort made for crowd control.

Security is there to protect the building and its performers. Patrons are there at their own risk! No security professional stands guard on the main floor or upper level where all of the alcohol is being served. For the Børns show we attended, much of the crowd was under 21.

Before and throughout the show, all stairwells providing access to the lower pit ARE COMPLETELY BLOCKED, so patrons freely climb over the railings. Otherwise, patrons are trapped on the floor with no access to bathrooms or even the ability to move due to the overcrowding allowed by zero oversight of the crowd.

In place of security, they allow as many patrons in as they can squeeze packing the place in too tight giving fans no choice but to push and shove other patrons. There are no avenues for patrons to freely move. All areas are blocked. Even areas marked EXIT were blocked. Again, there is no staff present inside to assist and in any manner.

The concert venue is not adequately cooled causing the temperature to EXCEED 80 DEGREES inside. The performance is supposed to be energizing and full of dance. Instead, everyone is standing still packed like sardines sweating like an outdoor music festival adding even more tension to the atmosphere.

Fights broke out during the show on the main level next to the bars because there was no space, no staff, no security, nor any police presence in order to respond or maintain any sort of crowd control.

Upon exiting, there was no less than a dozen private security guards and two police cruisers just sitting around doing absolutely nothing, fully aware of the conditions inside, however clueless of the fights. While the show was still going on, we alerted the only employees inside the venue, a couple of bartenders, of the fights occurring less than 10 feet from their counter. Their only response was to suggest filing a report with their administrative office. They took no action and called for no security.

Upon reporting a specific fight to a uniformed police officer sitting inside his police cruiser (the one to the right exiting the venue facing west and behind the other cruiser), he acknowledged he had received many complaints concerning the inside conditions and indicated he was only monitoring the situation. However, he did not seem to be listening.

I want to believe this officer did not hear me attempting to report a physical assault upon an 18-year woman when he brushed me aside, and not that he was ignoring me attempting to report a crime. I did not observe any commitment from him to protect or serve the patrons. You could tell by the police officer’s demeanor and the obvious fact he was on paid overtime private security detail, he wanted to help, but his hands were completely tied by his employer, or maybe he was just overworked, tired, and wanted to go home. He even volunteered information the lack of air conditioning was contributing to the overall crowd condition dangers.

This venue lacks the management oversight to protect its paid customers, whom they should be thankful for since we keep their doors open. Our family and friends will never attend another event there for our own safety. I pray I never see this place on the news for a tragic event, as it is a dangerous place with too many hazards to list.

A bit informal, just the way Rock concerts are supposed to be. Standing room only, fairly priced drinks, friendly bartender, Security at the door. In all, cool.
