Peck Lake Park is not very busy, but has many picnic tables set underneath covers. Would recommend for picnics! There is also a trail near the end of the park. While the boardwalk is a little long, it is worth the view of the Intercoastal. At the end of the walk, you have access to the water, and good view of it on a large, railed platform that also has another covered table (which you'll be able to see fish and other marine life from on good days).

The park is not very large, but it won't be too busy. There is a path/boardwalk that takes you out to the inter coastal, where there is a pavilion and some picnic tables. Don't expect to spend a whole day here, but it is a nice place to see some of the flora of the area.

Very nice, little used park with a boardwalk to the ICW. My kids like to say it’s like walking through Jurassic Park. There are interpretive signs lining the boardwalk and a nice pavilion at the end for picnics or fishing.

This boarded walkway through the untouched flora and fauna is a gorgeous way to experience the natural landscape. It is like a Floridian version of NYC's High Line. You need to know where to look to find Peck Lake Park. Otherwise you will go right past it. Very nice walkway to the Inter-coastal.

We visit this park often, as it's very close to our neighborhood. Technically walking distance, but we usually choose to ride our bicycles over, or drive if we are taking our dog for a walk (she tires a bit more easily). There are several picnic pavilions and a restroom along the main parking area, and you can follow the boardwalk trail to the intracoastal waterway. It's about a quarter of a mile, a very easy walk for most anyone.
At the end of the trail, there's a nice shaded pavilion on a wooden deck, which many people enjoy fishing from. There are some small trails going out to the mangroves and along the shore from the pavilion. If you sit still on the stairs for a moment or two, fiddler crabs seem to come out of everywhere. It's so fun to watch them. When tide is low, you can see the artificial reef balls along the coast by the deck.
My only additional comment is that if you are bringing your dogs here, KEEP THEM ON A LEASH! NO excuses! This isn't the place to let them go roaming freely, and it's easy to turn a corner on the boardwalk and be right next to another citizen enjoying the park with their own dog. Follow the rules, be a responsible dog owner so we can all enjoy the park. Having your dog off-leash at this park for any reason is an extremely rude thing to do.

You can reach this area by both land and water. The hike to the pavilion is easy. By boat you can anchor close and walk on. Good spot for fishing, wading only! Boats in the area so be careful. You may see a manatee or too and definitely birds.

Our family took a trip around some parts of Hobe Sound where we had never been before and I dare say that this park definitely was surprising! It has lovely for little picnic by the water, after taking the long walk to a decked pavilion. The children took their shoes off and walked to the water's edge and just the serenity of the atmosphere was enough to make us want to go back. There is a lot of parking available, so that's not an issue at all. There were also people fishing when we got to the pavilion. Overall, it was a nice, quaint place!

Beautiful, quite park with lots of places for a picnic or just hang out. Nice boardwalk to the ICW overlook. If you're brave you can swim there. Water is usually clear. Often locals fishing. Great place to see the birds- several ospry nests. Don't miss it

I have been walking here for years. Always something new to see. If you haven't been there in a while, all the floor boards have been replaced and the historical and nature information boards have been refurbished. One regret is that the trail is not longer

I did a mini-search on Google for Peck Lake Park and it lists nature trails, a fishing pier, picnic area and restrooms. But it does not list camping. Any of the other Martin County parks that include camping list the word "camping" in their short description. So, based upon that I think there is no camping. In all the years that I have visited the park and walked the boardwalk, I have never seen anyone camping. I hope that helps. It is still a great resource to visit.
