Lovely place rich in history! The events are always such an enjoyful, educational experience. The Cattle Drive in March is something everyone should experience! Photos below are from their Valentines event!

The museum offers a historical view of OLD FLORIDA ranching and pioneer life. The indoor museum is self guiding with lots of air space. Make sure to obtain a map to be sure not to miss all the displays throughout the 15 acre grounds. IMPORTANT, touring the pioneer home is not possible presently as it’s under major renovation so make sure to check their website or call ahead to see if the work is completed. There is still plenty to see and learn under its present state and I recommend a visit.

Like the other Collier County museums I've visited, this one is both entertaining and educational. The main building (an old church) contains a few simple-yet-informative displays about Roberts Ranch and the rest of the exhibits are spread out across a few acres of land. There are no defined paths but few should have trouble walking across the low-cut grass from one structure to another. Also true to form for Collier County Museums, the plaques contain a decent amount of information but not so much as to be overwhelming. It's easy to learn something without being forced to digest too much.
Roberts Ranch is about an hour from Naples- a nice, scenic drive that can also include Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary and Seminole Casino Immokalee along the way, if you're interested in nature walks and/or gambling. Be sure to pack insect repellent- depending on the weather you might need it.

This is a combined indoor and outdoor museum, with authentic old ranch structures. Very unique, in that you not only visit the inside museum, but get to walk around the property to see various buildings from earlier years. Immokalee is not on a major Interstate highway, but it's worth the trip to go out of your way to visit this unique museum.

Gorgeous property filled with trees and wildlife right in the middle of town. Being able to go inside some of the oldest buildings in Immokalee was so cool! I learned so much about cattle ranching that I never knew before.

This was a great way to spend 1.5 hours. The tour of all of the buildings is self-guided. It starts in the old church for an overview of the family that owned a cattle ranch. As you tour the grounds there are informative signs at every building. To see the family's original home and their "new" house, they had to feel that they were the luckiest people in the world. The grounds are well maintained. It would be good for kids to see how folks used to live. The staff was friendly and informative. We were there a few days prior to the Cattle Drive through town. That would have been something to see. Just getting to Immokalee is fun because you drive by orange groves and lots of fields of various produce. No charge since it is part of the county parks system, but you can drop some money in the box.

Fascinating museum housed in an old Baptist church. Interesting history of the lives of the Cattle ranchers and some prominent families. Lovely paintings of the area by Paul Arsenault depicting the landscapes and home s in the area.
Staff most helpful in explaining the history and mentioning the annual cattle rides on March 9.

Loved the wide open spaces of the grounds containing several buildings with well done historical displays in the first one. Glad we took the 45 min drive from Naples.

Enjoyed this little museum, learning interesting history of Florida. Arrived too late to see inside the other buildings but there are informative postings at each. If you find yourself in Immokalee with no interest in gambling it is a wonderful alternative.

Interesting piece of local history. Lady in the office gave us a brief history of the area. Worth spending an hour or so of our time.
