The pictures of the partially naked ladies can't help you but make you smile. The brush strokes of some of the paintings were very heavy but I guess it depends on what you actually like...

Peter Lik is an awesome photographer, I bought some prints way back in 2004 in Noosa, Australia. He's gone global and you can see why but the good stuff is $8000! Worth popping in and taking a look but you may need to take a loan to purchase...

Il s'agit d'une des galeries du photographe Peter Lik. Située sur Duval Street, on y retrouve ses clichés les plus célèbres;

So the photography is great. But the prices they are asking are absurd. The sales tactics once they have you in the back room are so over the top ridiculous. These are old used car methods that are in place because nobody can justify the asking prices. His pieces are on Ebay for 25% of the gallery prices. Nice work by a talented artist but don't allow the sales reps to help you unless you like to be shaken down.

The gallery was amazing, with beautiful photography throughout. The curator showed the group I was with to see how a couple of the pieces responded to light exposure in a room in the back which was fascinating.

Peter Lik produces some of the best photographs I have even seen. He also can claim to have sold the most expensive photograph. Talk to Antonio and she will explain the process Mr. Lik uses and give you a very enjoyable viewing experience.
