Larry and Pete are awesome fisherman. We could not have had a better experience. Caught a bunch of Tuna and Mahi Mahi. We will definitely be back!

Captain Larry and our mate Travis were awesome! They put us on fish and helped us catch. We had a great day on the water catching a variety of fish, including some big Mahi and a number of nice black fin tuna for the dinner table! The boat was super comfortable, too! They did everything to make sure we had a great time. Thanks guys!

I know catching big fish isn't guaranteed, but we barely caught any fish at all, for six hours of fishing. But what was really disappointing is that it felt like we didn't get to fish much at all. We paid $1200 to watch the first mate fish. I don't think my 15yo son even learned much. We weren't explained what was going on, unless we asked. We weren't even shown how to bait a hook. We were barely allowed to handle a rod, until it was time to reel one in. This was our first time going on a charter, and is not at all what we expected. We do fish alot at home in Minnesota, and what we did with Larry and Gary wasn't fishing, it was a ride along.

Captain Larry put us on the Mahi Mahi! His boat is a 1958 charming boat. Just loved it! His mate, David was awesome! Very knowledgeable about fishing and general info about Islamorada..I highly recommend Capt. Larry and his boss, First Choice..we are leaving the Keys with a lot of fillets! Thanks Capt. Larry for an awesome day!

Had a great, last minute, trip with Captain Larry and Chuck! Fantastic time! Can’t say enough good things about both gentleman. Chuck worked his butt off to make sure we were ready for success and Larry made sure we all felt like family aboard his boat. My teenage daughter, wife, and I all caught tuna, Mahi, and a barracuda. They both took great care of my daughter and made sure we all had a great deep sea experience! Would DEFINITELY do it again!

Went out with Captain Larry and Mate Colby today. Had a great experience. It was our first time fishing in Islamorada, caught a bunch of fish! Captain Larry was super friendly and went the extra mile to give us some awesome restaurant suggestions and tips. Colby was great and worked butt off making sure the lines were always baited and in the water! 🐟🎣🐠 definitely would recommend First Choice Charters! Hope to have the pleasure of going out with these guys again!

You know it's a good day when you have enough time Mahi to stop and do deep drops. The captain put us on the spot, two drops one came with a tile fish and one with a nice snowy grouper. He truly knows where the fish are. Took a total of 15 minutes. The captain was good to run us around several storms and keep catching fish. The mate colby was legit. Super friendly and new his stuff. We stopped for bait on the way out. He through two cast the first to target cigar minnows the second ballyhoo. The first yeided about 100+ minnows and they got about about 50 ballyhoo. Again Took about 30 minutes. No wasted time. I have been on several charter boats in the keys and this os one of the best charter boats in islamorada.

My wife and I had a great day and caught lots of fish because Capt Larry and his crew really know what they're doing. Besides being good fishermen, they are good hosts and take care of their customers in every way. The First Choice is a great boat and Capt Larry knows the local waters. They are professional, and a lot of fun to be with.

Excellent offshore fishing experience. Captain Larry was very knowledgeable of fish locations and made sure our trip was to our liking, mine especially since I requested no stopping at all ( I get sea sick easily). Lol. Captain Larry did an awesome job at putting us on the fish and we brought home a good amount of meat. Very well worth the trip! Thank you again!!

The captain and crew did a fantastic job. They knew what they were doing every moment that we were out there. We caught lots a mahi-mahi. Had a great time with the crew. Very friendly. We've gone out on other charters in Islamorada but not had as much success as we've had with First Choice charters. This was our second trip we plan more.
