Anytime I come to Lakeside Village or am in the vicinity I always make a stop at Rocket Fizz and get a soda. There is a mind-glowingly wide selection of not only root beers and cokes, but literally any kind of soda you can imagine. And I really do mean ANY kind- they even have crazy flavors like grass soda, corn soda, and bacon soda! There is so much to look at, you can walk around the stores several times and find something new with each lap. So many funny candies I never knew existed. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because they are definitely on the pricier side. Some of the popular candies there are a few dollars more than if you got them at a nearby grocery or convenience store. But, I do understand they have a lot of candies and drinks you cannot find at a normal grocery store, so they are probably allowed to charge a little more for some of those things. Either way I’m going to keep coming back and trying more of their fun sodas! (But probably not the grass one anytime soon) P.S if you are looking for the best root beer/ soda ever, I HIGHLY recommend the butterscotch root beer from the “Dang! that’s Good” brand, pictured below. Prepare to have your taste buds dazzled.

I have a rocket fizz in the short north in Columbus OH. So I figured to bring my boyfriend here because I enjoy going to the short north one so much since the candies, sodas and stuff can be so unique. I always like to have a comparison to what I have at my home state. Well when we walked in there was no one to greet us or even a friendly hello. But I was like whatever. So we started just walking around and browsing. I really thought their stuff was similar to what I have at home. But I enjoyed the experience walking around and seeing all the different candies and sodas. My boyfriend has never been to a Rocket Fizz it was his first experience coming to one. I asked for him to try it because I thought he would love it. My boyfriend is all about trying unique things you cannot find else where. He had a handful of different candies and sodas by the time we were done shopping. But at the end of the time we were done browsing the girl at the counter was on her personal cell phone answering phone calls while we were trying to check out. So it was kinda obnoxious and annoying to see that. The place was super cool overall. But customer service and friendliness just was lacking from time you walked in to time to check out. It was pretty sad in my opinion.

After seeing a location on an episode of Undercover Boss, I just had to see their selection of sodas. The place is wall to wall signs, soda, and sweets.
I bought 4 of their hundreds of different labeled sodas. You won't find anywhere like this. Some of the candy brought back childhood memories.

While it is a unique place with some retro candy it probably has more offbeat named sodas! The tins on the wall were for sale and some were very funny. My friend bought some candy as gifts.

Cute candy store so many neat thing to see in there I love the taffy my favorite part of going there. They even have sodas with weird names but yet fun for the kids to try

I asked an employee about and a toy, and asked if he thought a 4 year old boy, would like this. I was shopping for my nephew. The employee was like, I don't even know why we sell that, and he proceeds to tell me he doesn't like it. It was a little poop that covers the eraser of a pencil. He also went on to tell me how stupid fidget spinners are, and I wasn't even buying one, lol. If you don't like the product your selling, go find a new job!

This is supposed to be a retro candy store with vintage decor
Most of the sweets are what you can buy any where, only with a higher price tag
They had lots of different soda but at over $2's a bottle, a small coke bottle size at that I wasn't really tempted to buy
The vintage decor was New reproduction tin signs around the wall which you could purchase
Needless to say I didn't purchase anything and I probably would not go back

They are out of multiple products. Not upset about that.
They have signs posted throughout the store that soda bottles are $8.49 for a 4 pack. When I was rung up for my 4 it came to over $12. When I brought the sign to her attention she refused to honor the price.
Don't come here if you expect honesty.

Every time we go into this store the staff is so nice. My teen daughter loves going here and I've even had a friend of mine from Pennsylvania go in with me and can't wait to come back to visit so we can go again. Such unique candies and drinks! Keep up the great work!

$3 for a candy bar. I know this is a young business, and they need to get money. But it is difficult to swallow a piece of candy that costs more than the movie theater a block down the street.
