Very quiet park with a jogging path and a lake. Ducks all over. There is a set of 4 black and red ducks that came here out of nowhere about a month ago. So sweet and they talk to u.

Tropical park is a huge park with so many things to do. We came here for Asian culture festival which has been the new location for a couple years now (formally it was at fruit and spice park). The organization of the festival was nicely arranged around the paved walking path next to the lake. There are plenty of parking spots in and around the park in addition to the lots.
The list of amenities are plenty:
Bathrooms
Paved paths
Trails
Lake for fishing
Sport courts (baseball, basketball, soccer)
You can rent pedal boats for the lake
Fitness course
A giant hill!
And more.
Great park. Very clean and well maintained. I think it may be the largest of Miami’s 250+ parks.

This park has everything. We can go there to practice any sports, ride bikes, play with the kids, have family picnics or BBQs, or walk.

We went to take the COVID19 test and I was impressed with the excellent organization. I felt safe!
I have not been to this beautiful park in so long and it felt so nice to be back.
While we waited in line we were enjoying the beautiful pine trees here.
They have plenty of parking space.
Covid testing was great.

I had not been to this park in a long time, so when I happened to be in the area, I decided to stop for a hike. This park is MASSIVE with plenty of green space, hiking paths, hills, 3 lakes, and sports facilities. Most people aren't aware that prior to 1972 this beautiful piece of land was a horse racing track. After a long day of work, it is nice to walk the trails to enjoy the serenity and nature. In just over an hour I saw a variety of wildlife: including multiple species of birds, reptiles, mammals, and invertebrates. Admission is free, though I've heard that corrupt Miami city officials have been scheming for years to try and change that. Part of the park is currently being used as a drive-thru covid testing site, so be sure to avoid the area closest to the 826. I will definitely keep returning.

A really great park in the middle of everything. Tropical Park, developed on the site of a former horse track in 1979, attracts approximately 1,500,000 visitors annually. Visitors can enjoy bicycling, walking or running on the miles of paved pathways. Visitors can shape up on the fitness court or at the boxing center.
Ronald Reagan Equestrian - Hosting more than 36 shows a year, the Equestrian Center is where registered Arabians, hunter/jumpers, Western style, Paso Finos, and other breeds come to strut their stuff and pick up valuable show ribbons and trophies.
The beauty, grace and courage of a horse show are complimented by the stately center. It also has two grass courses, plus seating for approximately 1,000 persons. At the heart of the equestrian facility is a promenade and 3 state-of-the-art show arenas covered by a 200' x 275' standing steel roof.
A full-service equestrian facility, Tropical Park has 267 stalls available for rent to competitors, recreational vehicle hookups, restroom facilities and concession stands.
Tropical Park also houses 12 lighted wheelchair accessible tennis courts. 8 racquetball facilities are also available. Lessons are offered. Reservations - accepted.

We rented the large bike rentals, 6 people per bike and we had a blast!
We were a group of 28 people and they had enough bikes to take us immediately on a Saturday afternoon!
Keep in mind payment has to be made in cash!

If you’re a goody and want to know the true spirit of street food fashion while in Miami, don’t missy to stop at Tropical Park on the famous 40th. Jesus, food here got to another level, the smell, the presentation, the quality and above all, the mix of smoky fumes coming out each truck which will hit to your senses and take you through a journey of prismatic ranges of flavours, all sort of varieties including Asian, American southern and Latin. But bear in mind, is only Fridays and Saturdays, price wise is reasonable compared with local restaurants, but a must do if you are adventurous in Miami. The downside is the horrendous traffic along the 40th street so be patient and enjoy.

Visiting this park wasn't on our list, but we accidentaly found it while looking for a place to eat our takeaway pizzas, while heading to the Dadeland mall further south.
The park is huge, and as I saw very popular with locals jogging and having picnic and bbq. There's a big lake with pedals to rent.
We were satisfied visiting it and having our lunch in nature.

I love to go jugging on the weekends. It is also a great park to go for picnics. ride your bike and much more. One of my favorite parks.
