So sad to hear of the closure. I loved taking my granddaughter there and have so many wonderful memories and photos. The personal contact with certain animals was awesome, especially being greeted at the entrance by a beautiful peacock. It would be nice if the new owners would reopen as it was before.

Website and recorded message implied place was open. We drove all the way from Miami and the place is ***PERMANENTLY CLOSED*** with an eviction notice on the front gate. Shame that the attraction did not mention this on its website or recorded message. There were several other families that also arrived around the same time only to find out they had wasted a trip.

Just wanted to let people know that we showed up on Saturday morning March 20, 2021 and Safari EdVentures was closed. The worker at the gate said it was just recently purchased and signs on the fence said permanently closed. We headed to ZWF which was 18 min away and amazing.

Spend approximately 2hrs there, we opted for the private tour and had an absolute blast.
Our guide - Angie was very friendly, professional, funny and knowledgeable. She made our last adventure in Miami an unforgettable one. Thank you ANGIE!

The tour was super informative and it was so fun to interact with some of the animals so closely. Many different types of animals to see. Only negative feedback is the cages didn’t seem well kept - seemed very small and some falling apart. Made us wonder about the animals’ quality of life. Would definitely recommend, though, for a fun time for any animal lover!

This place is small yes but makes it special. We spent 4 hours here. We walked it twice. Best - was not crowded. Juan works there and takes you on animal up close encounters. We saw a sloth, wolf, and alligator!
Sure it isn't pristine. They aren't there to take time away from animals and always manicure their the grounds to look all fancy like the well known zoos. This is supposed to mimic the natural overgrown environment the best it can. Price is not bad at all for up close and limited crowd. You pay $10-$15 just to see a sloth at some zoos and it is often sleeping.
There are so many things to see here if you explore and look. Insects, birds, and amazing iguana coming out of the trees and bushes.
I'm glad we came here.

This was truly an AMAZING experience. I will say, it is small, but that's the true beauty of it. It is so personal and intimate.
My husband and I traveled with our 8 yr old and grandfather, We opted for the private tour, mainly to give our daughter some quality time with her favorite animal, the sloth. I'm so glad we did! Carlos was our guide and was so patient with our very timid girl. Feeding and being so close to those animals was such a treat! O'Ryan the wolf was by far the family favorite, followed by Arthur the sloth. The caregivers truly care about the animals, and work hard to make sure they are well cared for. Our tour was about an hour, which was plenty of time. And after we took another round through to revisit everyone. I truly cannot say enough positive things about this hidden gem!
The place a little off the beaten path, but still only an hour from Miami...so it makes for a great half day adventure. I'd go back in a heartbeat just to see the big smile on my girl's face! THANK YOU for an amazing time

Visited with a friend for her birthday and had a great time! The animals are well kept, the guide (I believe his name was Juan) was super knowledgeable about all of the animals there, and the interactions were super fun!

My daughter LOVES sloths. We drove all the way down there since every site, including theirs, indicated they were open. We arrived and saw the sign that said they were open. But, no, they aren't. Ruined our day, made my daughter cry. You should be ashamed of yourself! Since I can't swear, you all are JERKS!!!!

Hi. I tried to call, email and text today. No response back, yet. So, I'm hoping someone can help me here!
Are they open today? Being Good Friday and not answering the phone is why I'm having that question.
What is the difference between the regular admission and the IT tour? Does the regular tour allow you to interact, hold, feed, ECT the animals or is that what the IT tour is?
Do they offer a Military rate/discount?

Hi Luke,
To my knowledge, there is no public transportation from Miami to Safari Edventure except for a cab or uber. I think the times are on the website. When we went last year we called ahead of time to book the ITS tour. But the place was closed so there was no confirmation. So we called once we were in Miami and the place was open and they were able to schedule us a tour. Once we got there, we talked to the staff and agreed on a time for the tour. The tour is awesome! We did not get to see the shows due to time constraints. But the staff was friendly and helpful and answered all our questions.

We are planning to visit this attraction next year because it seems to be a great experience except for the small cages that are often mentioned and criticized. However, I am still asking myself if we should book the private tour for 55 Dollars or if we should simply take the self-guided tour for 18 Dollars. Would you say that it is worth the difference of 37 Dollars? What exactly is different and how much longer will our stay probably be because of the private tour? Thanks in advance!

I used Facebook messenger to contact them after I requested a date and time for the private tour. Once they confirmed my date and time was available, I paid the deposit and again used messenger. They responded within a couple hours on both instances.

Hi there. We are visiting this place in late June after visiting the zoo nearby. I read that this place has fruit bats. My girlfriend and I are terrified of bats. Is it possible to not see them and avoid that area? Thanks.
