Janinha our guide did a fantastic job, we learned so much about the architecture and the history of the city. Plus enjoyed some amazing cocktails. We had such a pleasant time with Janinha highly recommended!

A good introduction to the vibrant Little Havana community. The food was all good. Don’t eat before the tour as it is plenty of food to cover breakfast and lunch (and dinner for some). Our guide was Jennifer who has been doing the tour for years.

Great way to get to know the city more on a deeper level. Jennifer did an amazing job capturing all the elements of Miami Beach and art deco! She was so knowledgeable and friendly giving us an endless list of recommendations. We will definitely be back!

Jennifer was a great guide. She was personable and had a good understanding of the local history. Enjoyed the spots she took us to: bakery, coffee shop, restaurant, domino park, ice cream. Only a few blocks of walking, so most people should have no issues with the tour - it covers a compact area of Little Havana.

What a great introduction to Art Deco in South Beach! Janinha was our guide and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She is clearly passionate about her city, which seeped into every step of this tour. She also appears well known here, as the staff at the hotels we stopped into were all familiar with her. I learned a ton today, plus there were only four people on this tour which made for a better experience, sharing stories along the way. The rain didn’t dampen our spirits at all. Thanks Janinha! Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour of little Havana. Our guide Cesar was high energy, interesting, and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Cuba and little Havana! The visit to Ball and Chain was a highlight!

We loved the tour with Janinha- she is so knowledgeable and we learned so much about the history, significance & deco technique. Highest, tops & even higher recommendations for this experience. It really made us appreciate the beauty, design and uniqueness of everything to see in south beach. Thanks again to Janinha & don’t miss out!

This was a really interesting tour - we learned a lot of history about Miami in general but also of the buildings we walked past while staying in South Beach. Jennifer definitely knew a lot and had personal experiences to add to the tour! I loved going inside of some of these places - it’s not something I would’ve known to do on my own.

But they all begin in the heart of the Art Deco District on South Beach around 10th street close to the beach. Zip code 33139. Yes the website link is on this page. We actually took the city bus over because we heard parking was a nightmare. When we got there we could see that it was really bad. There didn't seem to be any parking and there were traffic jams on pretty well every street.

We will be travelling from Orlando to south beach this fri. Which tour time would you recommend to give us time to check in etc and find your tour? Do we need to buy our tickets in advance?

yep definitely book in advance. the guide needs to know if a tour is taking place and how many people participate - we even had a tour for ourselves.
parking in miami beach is "ok" if you know where to go, but the traffic was extremely heavy in our case. so you may want to add a +30min safety margin to what your navigation system tells you just for getting to Miami Beach from downtown Miami.
The art deco walking tour was fantastic, if your tour guide is called "James" be sure to ask him about the Miami Beach Star!

I agree with the others - lots of walking, crossing roads, climbing stairs and cramming into old small elevators.
You might be able to go on your own - fairly self explanatory or contact tour company for a custom tour tailored to your specific needs.

Hi I would like to do both the 1pm private Art Deco walk and the 10am little Havana walk but t they overlap by half an hour ... Is there any way I cam overcome this . We are only in the port of Miami for the day. Thanks
