Rented a 16.5' Fathom kayak from here twice in the past week or so. Everyone I delt with was friendly and helpful. They mounted the boat on top of my Audi with no issues. The price is reasonable and the service was excellent. Much better than those places down in EC that have a motel as their answering service and then don't return your calls anyway. I'll rent from here again in a heartbeat.

My wife booked an evening kayak tour for my birthday. Our guide Tom was a seasoned pro with extensive knowledge of the area and it's wildlife. He made us feel at ease and offered guidance to make the trip enjoyable for us: two middle-aged, inexperienced paddlers.
Within the first ten minutes we saw a pod of dolphins, including a baby. Then, we paused to enjoy the sunset and watch hundreds of birds roost for the night on a remote island. The highlight of the trip however, was a hands on introduction to the bio-luminescent creatures that inhabit the mangroves - it was an amazing experience..
We couldn't recommend this tour higher. Tom was an accommodating host and an real professional. Thank you.

I was in Florida from NY for a few weeks I went kayak fishing with Garrett from Naples outfitters had suck a good time i booked a second trip before i had to return home. Excellent fishing guide.

My wife and I purchased a 2020 Hobie Mirage Outback kayak on a Sunday morning at the full price of $2,900.00 plus tax. Aaron, the manager handled the transaction very professionally. He said that I could take the kayak with me and Iasked me to drive my SUV around to the loading dock. That's where the trouble started. Aaron passed me over to Shane who, right from the beginning, had a chip on his shoulder. First he stated that I had to come back later in afternoon or another day. I explained that I was about a 40 minute drive away. He said he could deliver it but he would charge me $30. (The manager later said that they routinely deliver for free.) Shane reluctantly agreed to get the kayak ready but that I would have to wait 30 minutes. That seemed quite reasonable and we went on an errand and came back 45 minutes later. The kayak was ready to load on my SUV but Shane claimed that I would have to wait until an extra person came to work. There was a man from another Hobie dealership there who was willing to help but Shane refused to let him help. I later found out that the manager had also suggested it. I am a senior citizen and I think Shane just wanted to show me who was really the boss and make me wait. Luckily, another employee arrived for work and the kayak was loaded on top of my SUV. I had my own ropes but Shane insisted that, for safety, I use a strap from side to side. He showed me a strap used for rentals and I asked if I could borrow it. With an insincere smile, he said that store policy did not allow them to lend me one and that I would have to buy one. The manager later said that they normally would have given me one. I tied on the kayak by myself and left without a strap. I am sure that Shane felt good bullying me but he also, conveniently, forgot to give me the user manual. I called the store and they will mail me one. I am glad I don't have to go back.

We rented 3 paddle boards and had them put on top of a rented SUV. We did a 24 hour rental, but, it was pretty flexible as to when we needed to bring them back, basically by 5:30pm 1/2 prior to closing.
Rental came with a kit to strap on car (3) boards, 3 paddles and 3 life jackets. Shane was super helpful and accommodating. We had free reign as to where to go.
Day one we got stuck in a HORRIFIC lightning storm in Rookery Bay. Note to all, obsessively check the weather as it changes FAST. Our own stupidity. Day 2, we went to Laudermilk beach and paddle boarded close to shore. Much better idea :) Anyway we had a great time and got to see a pod of 4 dolphins as we cruised along the coast. This rental is a no brainer and will be a permanent addition to our Naples vacations.

Had an amazing experience kayaking at sunset and into the night with our guide Tom. Certainly lucked out with Tom as our guide. Extremely knowledgeable and passionate. Not only did he teach us proper kayaking techniques, but he took extra time and effort to show us the bioluminescence of the world underneath the water and thereby made this kayaking memorable and special. Thank you, Tom.

Garrett was an awesome salesman. We bought two pedal kayaks. He brought them to us the next day, put them in our canal, gave us a lesson and demonstrated how to put them in and out of the water. We are so happy and excited. Highly recommend this business!

Great and friendly staff. Very thorough knowledge of the area, offers guided kayak tours and fishing trips as well as everything you need to be out on the water. I highly recommend.

We had an AWESOME experience our first time. Our tour guide was Jessie he was AMAZING, very friendly and knowledgeable. Jessie made us feel extremely comfortable as he walked us through basic steps of peddle boarding he gave us tips so we would feel comfortable. I highly recommend this tour for first timers our experience was really COOL. The bonus part we paddled to Clam Pass Beach had a chance to hang out at the beach. Thank You Jessie!!!! I visited this establishment in search of a kayak to start fishing from. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by Jesse. I told him what I wanted to do and asked if he had any advice for me and if he had any kayaks that he thinks would be suitable for me and my goals of fishing. What a wealth of knowledge this guy is! I didn't want to buy new, so he told me they had a bunch of used and consignment kayaks that he thinks would work very well for me.
We walked out back and he painstakingly went over all the different kayaks and what each one would offer me for about an hour and a half and, in his opinion, which kayak would be most suited for me because I am a pretty big guy(5'11 250lbs). He didn't try to push me into anything. He said multiple times " I want to make sure you are happy with your purchase and I want you to go out and have an awesome time fishing from your new kayak".
I ended up buying a 2015 Hobie Outback and I couldn't be more happy with my purchase!
Long story short, if you are looking for a kayak and want to talk to someone with a wealth of knowledge to make sure you make the best investment for yourself, go visit Naples Outfitters and talk to Jesse!
