The show "Company" was a total bust!!! The actresses and actors were phenomenal - talented but the writing was dumb!! Don't go to see it!!

Attended the Performance of Company. It was flat, no energy and boring. We left, along with about 150 others at intermission. Heard the same thing about the Friday night performance. It is a shame because most performances are 5 star.

Saw a concert at this venue. The facility is well kept. Seats are comfortable and sounds is good quality. Does not look like there is a bad seat in the house. Staff is helpful and courteous.

My granddaughter and I attended the Nutcracker for our first ever show at Artis-Naples last night. The show was very good, but one of the ladies "watching" the door took her position of "power" to a new height.
My granddaughter missed her dinner, so we went outside to the cafe to get something to eat prior to the show. She was holding the exit door for me (as it locked when it closed) while I was purchasing some food from the cafe. When I was returning with the food - and only about 20 feet from the door - the door monitor came up to my granddaughter and her friend and said "ladies, let go of this door, it has to remain closed." She could see me coming with the food. Then she yanked the door out of their hands, looked at me (I was walking toward them) and slammed the door in my face. Then she mouthed to me and motioned with her finger "Go around!" Why would you have the door closest to the cafe need to "remain locked" when people are trying to purchase food?? And why be so nasty to the paying guests - especially two young (11 year old) girls?
Wow, what an experience for my first ever visit to such a renowned place in Naples. We were very disappointed and it set the stage for the evening. Give someone a little power and it goes to their head.

Jesus Christ Superstar performance. This first came out in 1973. Famous musical but the performance was marred by an EXCESSIVELY LOUD orchestra. Lots of patrons complained. People were stuffing tissues in their ears!!

Saturday 2/4 attended the 8:30 PM show at Daniels Pavilion to see the Earth Wind and Fire Tribute Band (EWFTB). The concert was a major disappointment.
For some reason the acoustics were so bad that the band/singers stopped playing several times and pleaded with the tech staff to enhance the volume of the singers' microphones so that they could be heard above the music. Attendees even spoke out in loud voices asking for proper volume adjustment. It was not until the end of the concert that adjustments were finally made.
Before the beginning of the show, a back up singer/musician in the front right section tried to get the attention of the tech person in the balcony to adjust (raise) the volume of his equipment which appeared to be linked to the other three singers? He knew the equipment was not functioning properly, but no one on the Artis staff was paying attention or could not make the adjustments so that the singers could be properly heard.
The net result is that attendees left in droves, which was embarrassing for the band who was desperately trying to do their best.
Whether there were technical difficulties that could not be managed, or this was simply the wrong venue for what was a large group of musicians like EWFTB, it was so disappointing to the many fans of Earth Wind and Fire who looked forward to an evening of live, nostalgic singing and music.

I took my cousin to to see the Chihuly glass on display at the Baker Buseum. It was really beautiful. They also had a great baseball exhibit and other fine art on exhibitition. Not too large, so a good place to visit with older guests.

I purchased tickets in September for Bernadette Peters as a Christmas gift for a friend who would be staying with me in March 2022. At that time nowhere on the website were there requirements stating vaccine card or negative COVID test required for this concert 3/18/22. Discovered when looked on website last week when a pop up appeared. Called the Patron services advised that regulation added 11/21. Asked about refund policy if I did not agree with admission requirements. Representative told me that if I chose not to get tested ahead of time I could arrive early, have my nose swabbed, wait 5 minutes and enter like a "NORMAL" person. I asked him to repeat what he said, after which I said "so are you stating that because of my personal health choices, I am not "NORMAL"...to which he replied "well all of us here have been vaccinated". I think ARTIS-NAPLES needs to review their "diversity" training policy with their employees....I will not be patronizing this venue again.

This is a beautiful venue and promises a delightful evening out with live music/entertainment. It’s unfortunate in a city, where a large portion of the population are seniors especially during season, that the management staff is not trained with respect to the Americans with Disability Act. We were treated rudely and told that my task trained medical service dog was NOT a service dog because he was “too small.” That is a direct violation of the ADA. A service dog can be any size, any breed. The usher called the manager who called police. I finally won and saw the show but it was difficult to enjoy after being held outside for more than 30 minutes while they debated. Their ignorance of the law was only proven by the copy I carry in my phone and my medical documentation which legally they are not allowed to request. I would NEVER go back. No one should be treated this way and comments made to me by venue employees are too discriminating to even repeat here. Suffice it to say, if you are perfectly healthy, enjoy. If not, stay far away.

We attended two venues walkable from our Naples Hilton hotel. Both were wonderful! Settings very comfortable and very clean. Staff was very helpful.

I agree with Arthur S. We went to a syphony performance some years ago. I was so astonished by the qulity of the sound that I asked if it was electronically augmented. The answer was that it wasn't and the acoustical design had been done by an outfit from Chicago, if I remember correctly.
For all of thopse audiphiles who invest a lot of time and money in tweaking their systems so that the ourput will sound right, this is a great hall to find out what "sounds rigbht" actuall means. We just got back from a trip to civilisation where we heard a symnphonic performanc ein the Birmingham Symphony Hall, regared by someone I respect as the 7th best hall in the world. My guess is Leo Berank neverf heard the hall in Naples.

Do the rear box seats overhang the orchestra? Which seats are better rear box first row or Orchestra Center Row O near the aisle?

Can you view the whole stage from side boxes? Specifically ones close to stage? Thanks :)

Hi
In the upper boxes, no.
Example: you’re in a rightside box, then the rightside side & rear of the stage is blocked. It’s even worse if you’re in a back row of that box. Estimate 1/4 of the stage is blocked from view.
Upper stage boxes allow you to see down on the center stage versus the Orchestra rows A thru H you can’t see past the front chairs of the symphony.
