Boys were nice at check in and boat was as advertised. Then given a map smaller than a placemat, with more ads around it than map, and instructed where we could and could not go. Upon return he was waiting at end of dock which was nice but curious. My suspicions were confirmed at checkout when after asking if we had a good time, we did, he said "this is the part of the job I don't like. You didn't follow my instructions and went where you shouldn't have." We had no reason to believe we had Until he showed us on his iPad where he had tracked us on gps. I recognized the one area we had uncertainty whether to go left or right so we understandedly followed three boats ahead of us. When he said it was very clear on the "chart" I was irate. I was generous to call what he gave us a map. I have sailed all of Lake Michigan and the BVI's and given a marine chart AND a compass, we had neither, I can get directly where I want. Lacking these surrounded by mangrove islands it was unclear so we followed the locals. If they had provided these navigation tools, or better yet a deposit on a programmed iPad this could be avoided. Instead there was a $200 penalty to pull the boat to check for damage, pretty good additional profit on a $400 rental. He doubled my anger when he said he was being nice for not charging us twice since we came back same way. I doubt if he needs to pull the boat out twice, absurd. The fact he started this conversation with " this is the part of the job I don't like" tells me this happens a lot so beware, or better than yet don't use them. I won't again.

I recently rented a boat with Brookside for the day and they did not disappoint! I have used other Naples rental companies but will be choosing to go through this marina from now on! The boat was very clean and didn't have the logo plastered everywhere so it felt more like it was my own! Trent made sure to point out the best beach spots to hit and suggested a couple restaurants that would be on my way. My day could not have been better! Can't wait to bring friends and rent their pontoons!

10 of us met at Brooks for burgers on recommendation of friends and good reviews. We were not disappointed. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. The owner introduced himself and thanked us for coming. The food was wonderful and the prices very reasonable. We will definitely go back. One of the best places we have been to in Naples!!!

We usually rent from a company in Bonita, but decided to give Brookside Marina Boat Rentals a try, and we are glad we did! Captain Mike was very helpful, and the boat was great! We had 12 people, and everyone was comfortable on the boat. Those that wanted to be out of the sun were, and those that wanted to work on their tans were able to do so! Toured around Naples Bay and the many inlets, everyone had a great time!

Second time renter and Captain Mike did not disapoint. Awesome boat, beautiful day. 5 stars for them. I am a picky renter and our boat was perfect. Great price, awesome boat and Captain Mike was awesome to work with. The only rental company to consider in Naples....

Do not rent a boat from this Brookside Marina. They were very disorganized the morning we rented and the pontoon boat was held together with tape in some places When we called asking for assistance and directions during the day they were extremely rude. Now after paying for our rental we have receive 2 more charges that add up to $1000. They checked boat when we returned (it was fine) and now that we have left town they continue to charge our credit card. This is a very unethical company to say the least.

BEWARE! Even though they don't disclose it, they will charge you for your boat rental, even if you call back within an hour to cancel it. They run their business like a tourist trap.
The customer service is abysmal. Instead of communicating with customers, the person in charge of the boat rental is belligerent and hangs up in the middle of rational conversation. We had THE MOST TERRIBLE experience with this company, and will not be doing business with them in the future. There are several other boat rental places in the area that are much more deserving of your business.
