Western Bike is an excellent shop with outstanding customer service. I brought my own bike to Florida, and my buddy who accompanied me needed to rent one for our planned cycling excursions. Heather did a great job of finding the right bike for my buddy. She gave us an excellent map of the Naples area that clearly showed all of the bike routes around the city. The rental price for the bike also included a lock cable and basket, each of which was very handy for touring around the city.
Throughout our interaction with her, Heather was efficient, cheerful, patient, and a pleasure to work with. Also, the shop itself has an amazing selection of bike accessories - anything you could possibly need. Finally, the selection of bikes for purchase was extensive, and they had some good deals on quality used bikes as well. Overall, a 5-star experience.
PS: Be sure to bike along Gulf Shore Boulevard and Gordon Drive. The mansions and landscaping are magnificent. Bring beach gear and a locking cable in case you want to stop at any of the many beach access points along the way.

Best service ever, Arrived in with a puncture in my back wheel, they fixed it there and then. A real pleasure to deal with such nice staff and the owners father in law was most helpful Thnak you for excellent customer service

What an absolute nightmare. The owner is a woman with absolutely no integrity of ability in handling customer care. She is arrogant rude and bullish. I was shocked to see a woman behave like that. I purchased a bike that had many issues. When they couldn't fix the sprocket from the chain falling off they blamed me saying ," The chain falls off because you torque to hard ." Then they had a very small man ride and it kept falling off. It was the last bike with no official tags. I think it was a return. They wouldn't make an exchange after so many days. When I complained the Old Father tried to start a fight with me. W...TRSH HEAVEN ,,STAY AWAY

I was dismayed to see a negative review regarding this independent, family owned bike store in Naples. I have dealt with them for a number of years and have always experienced courteous and friendly service with excellent repairs and reasonable pricing. It is a shame that so many reviews appear to be written by people who are simply angry and unhappy and see the review as a way to personally vent.
I would easily recommend this store to anyone.

I will not recommend this store based in my personal experience.
My husband and I were looking to buy a bike for him, and we wanted to help our community mall business, so went to Western Bike store at 41 St, and bought a bicycle back in December and the owner helped us with the purchase. At that time I mentioned to her that a new bike that my husband purchased for me had a sound like a click while I was riding. So then we made an arrangement to pick my bike for repair at the same time the one was delivery from Western Bike. I received a call that my bike had been repaired and I paid $77.00. When I ride my bike few days after and the same sound still there, I went to the store and I was told by the owner that after my bike they received 3/4 more ones from Amazon, and all of them had problems, I was offered to bring my bike to them, on my own and they will look at it. Look at it? I need it to be fix, I paid for a false FIX? I was NOT offered to have my bike fixed. I was told that they cannot work for free. I believe that is a very WRONG business approach to a repair that went wrong!! Mistakes happen but taking responsibilities for them is important when businesses are servicing customers, specialty when we all are local neighbors
I will NOT recommend this store.

This is a family owned business since the 1980s in Naples, Florida. We have been using their services for three years and this year my wife and I bought two bicycles and various attachments. They are very knowledgeable and helpful and friendly. Here is an example: I had bought a Hollywood bicycle carrier and was having trouble fitting it to my GMC truck hitch. I called them in spite of being busy they told me to pull up back. When I did a gentleman came out with a toolbox and got down on the ground and adjusted the bicycle rack into the hitch. There was no charge. Highly recommended!

Went for air in bicycle tires they broke a valve stem "gave" me tube and charged $10.70 for "labor". I had no other way home so I paid AND THEN realized they didn't connect front brake!!!!!! Needless to say I stopped payment&went to Trek store 10miles away&they were awesome amd couldn't believe that story. Avoid Western Bike. I thought it was a nice little independent shop. Don't waster your time,money or safety!!!

I have used Western Bike for many years for new purchase, service, rentals and accessories. They are always obliging friendly and with sage advice, not trying to sell you the most expensive things. They are reliable too.
I have had a vey bad experience with another bike shop here who refused to take back a purchased item which did not fit. I got my money in the end when I threatened court and gave otto charity. That was some years ago when I discovered Western. Never had any need to change fom them. Long may they prosper.
