It's not the merchandise, though I would never buy food items from here. It just seems a hostile work environment for some of the shoppers and the employees. The stores are too crowded with merchandise and a lot of it is too high for shoppers to reach. Plus the heavier stuff that is on the top shelves are dangerous for the employees to retrieve for the customers. I had to grab a ladder because the employee and the merchandise he was retrieving almost fell on another customer.

I shop here once a month and it’s the “go to” store for children’s books for any upcoming birthday! Their prices are a fraction of bookshop prices so I generally buy several! The selection is current, subject matter is very well categorized and many known authors. And it’s great for adult books too. There is a section devoted to Christian literature. The cookbook section shouldn’t be missed either for those who love cookbooks. This store also has a great toy Dept for birthdays & Christmas. I recently found holiday name brand candy about $1 or $1.50 less than a big box nat’l retailer. And the same goes for leggings! I compared their price to a nat’l popular retailer and Ollie’s was $6 less and of equal quality. But if U are looking for all cotton sheets, all I could find was a too large quantity of microfiber sheets, which I do not prefer. Sheets, towels, rugs and other household products sold here are all underpriced. A great place for just about everything at a lower price!

Went looking and found LED lights for my truck bars ,singles,and mulity color bars .Wired and wireless cheap over half off .Great and pickup some good thick floor mats real cheap.

Ollie's is a great "last chance" shopping experience. There are bargains on top of bargains. If you want it, you'd better buy it while it lasts, because you will probably never see it at that price again. It's MUCH better organized than any Big Lots or Dirt Cheap that I've ever been in. And it is the same merchandise that was sold elsewhere before for many more dollars. My husband is a comic fan. He was thrilled with some of the hardback graphic novels I recently picked up, and the kids had a blast going through the toys that were 40% off the already low price. My daughter found a pack of Monster High minis, and my son got some great water guns. I can't wait to go back for some of the hair dye they've got in their ad this week for $2.99! It's got something for everyone!
