We feel that this place may not be friendly to older people (or maybe gays?) We arrived at this place rather early for the downtown crowd, around 9PM. Four of us. First three who were carded were ages 72, 70, and 65. The fourth was a gay guy who was in his late fifties. He was wearing sandals that are made of a lot of straps that criss-cross and go completely around the back o f his foot. You cannot even see his foot showing through the tiny holes where the straps cross. Almost a completely solid leather shoe. The bouncer said that he couldn't come in because he was wearing open-toed shoes. His toes were NOT showing. In their dress-code that we found online, it said you couldn't wear flip-flops , crocs, or colorful, worn sneakers. I have no proof of this, but we felt that he was just looking for a reason not to allow us in. We went around the corner to another place where we were happily welcomed in. Their loss, of course, as we would have spent the rest of the night there spending money and tipping a lot, as we always do.

Cute but pretentious. If you want a nice drink and to relax, you will be somewhat satisfied. Place is trying to be more than it is. Reserves seats for bottle service that are not filled. Limited seating. Typical overpriced downtown bar.
Server was very nice. Seems lime an ownership or management obsession that prevents this from being what it could be.

The customer service really went downhill. They don't even answer the phone, no matter when you call.
I lost my phone, and they are going to make me drive an hour just to see if it is there. That and messed orders. There are other speakeasies in that make you feel special when you walk through the door.

I visited this place a couple times a m the past but last Friday march 4th 2022 would probably be the last one. I had a very bad experience and even the general manager talked to me and tried to make it better it did not change my feelings and frustration.
First of all, drinks are extremely overpriced. I ordered a double single malt and I swear what I got was not more than 1.5 oz. I finished it on 15 minutes and I was trying to be conservative on my zips, not worth the 21 dollars they charged. We ordered 3 of those and none of us were happy. When I asked the server about how small the drink was he made me feel like that was my problem, which it actually is, but he could've been more polite about it. So I told him that he could've been a better sever, that I am not ordering more. Then he disappear for awhile. The second situation was about the card he asked for when we ordered. I told him that we will split the bill when we check out. So when we asked for the check, he ran the card we gave him and when asked to reverse the transaction he said that it was not possible. At that point I was angry about the situation so asked him to go reverse it and bring the manager. I do not know what he did but the card was put on hold and the transaction rejected. The manager then came very aggressive telling us to give her a method of payment and saying that the hold on the card was not their fault. My friend then had to spend a couple hours solving the issue since it was a foreign card, he is visiting and is the only card he has. He mentioned the issue to the manager and she was not very polite telling him that the bar has nothing to do with blocked credit cards.
At the end we left very frustrated and unhappy about the service, the price, and the way they treated us. Not going back and telling my friends to avoid this place.

Great Speakeasy experience!! Very cool inside with lots of historical features. Cosey atmosphere that had seating for small groups or couples. Fun drink options and awesome bar!

Un posto bellissimo! Sembra di dare un tuffo nel passato all’epoca del proibizionismo. Sembra proprio di essere in una vecchia magione. La porta di ingresso nascosta dietro una libreria. Cocktail ottimi e sabato sera dalle 19 p.m. Burlesque!

Excelente lugar, buen ambiente y excelentes atenciones!!!!!!!!
Tuve la oportunidad de visitar el lugar con el abogado Isadore Hyde, el mejor al que me pudo a ver llevado. El bar es impresionante desde la entrada hasta el interior de el, tiene mucho que apreciar.
Sus tragos artesanales, te permiten disfrutar aun mejor del lugar.
No te vayas de Orlando sin visitar este bar!! No te vas a arrepentir.

Stumbled across this bar walking around downtown. You’ll be greeted with a person that will check your ID, no matter your age. Dress code is enforced, no ball caps. You take stairs up and enter a room with book shelves. There is a hidden door behind one of the bookcases. Open the door into and amazing bar. Service was excellent, atmosphere amazing. They have a good HH with 1/2 price on there signature drinks, wines and beer, from 5-7. Seating at the bar, soft lounge chairs and sofa, standing tables and even a swing seat. We had a great experience and will definitely go back.
