We went in early May when kids were still at school so less busy and we only visited this park during the week as again weekends were more busy with kids. Basically avoid weekends and kids off school weeks to make it more enjoyable. Also if you go in April/May the weather is not super hot and temperature ranged between 20 to 28 but all of indoors spaces had air conditioning and this was more relevant when walking around. I would not be happy visiting Disney is August due to very hot weather and so much more busy due to kids being off school. We also used Disney app and on there is an option to pre-book rides by buying genie pass for a day. This meant that you could join lightning speed queues and would need to turn up at a specific time. This worked well for us as it meant no queuing making the experiences more enjoyable. The genie passes are less expensive during their off peak times so we paid a lot less having visited in May. These are the things that I thought that you and your husband may find helpful when thinking about visiting.

We bought them off the Disney website. They offer promotions at times, which is what we took advantage of. Sorry for the delayed reponse.

I would think 3 hours at the most. I can not imagine that you would not want to ride a few rides. I am a senior and would not be able to just go without riding something. But there are shows to go in and see at each park also. Enjoy, I love Disney and go usually twice a year.

Dont bother going here it is rubbish and very very crowded. Save your money and go to Universal instead.
