Luego de Flight of passage, lo mejor de Animal Kingdom. Es una montaña rusa sin inversiones, pero con bastante adrenalina. No apta para quienes sufren motion sickness. Si no se cuenta con genie + recomiendo hacerla durante la primera media hora de apertura del parque, o últimos 15 minutos antes del cierre, así la espera ( que durante el resto del día es de no menos de 50 minutos) es mucho menor.
Otra opción excelente es la fila Single Rider, si el grupo no tiene problema en separarse. En ese caso la espera en un día concurrido es de menos de 10 minutos. Un golazo.

Que buena experiencia. en Animal Kingdom, no es para todas las edades (o alturas) pero si es importante poder vivir esa experiencia para quienes van.

This ride is my favorite! Definitely the best roller coaster at the disney world parks. If you like thrilling rides, this is a must. We went to Animal Kingdom on a busy day during a school break but the wait wasn’t bad. We waited about 40 minutes during the middle of the day, then went on again during the evening when the wait was only about 15-20 minutes. I love not just the ride, but the queue as well. There are many cool things to see while waiting in line. Expedition Everest is a Disney classic, if you’re at Animal Kingdom you need to go on this ride!

From a non-roller coaster enthusiast, this is a fun an doable roller coaster. It provides some thrills without going nuts. I am not sure why Disney has never replaced the Yeti at the top of the ride (just before you go backward), but this is a good ride for anyone who cannot tackle the really aggressive coasters out there,.

Was one of the first riders in the morning. Thrilling backwards flip at the end (yes it goes backwards). Nothing quite like seeing railroad tracks broken and worrying for your life.

This is located in Disney’s Animal Kingdom near the Asia part of the park. On the day that we went, we decided to do the Standby which had a wait of about 45 minutes. It is worth the wait since you travel through many items and rooms that are well decorated for the climbing theme of the entire ride. The other theme is the search for the elusive yeti and there are many items set up beautifully to show things associated with this creature and its lore. Much of the wait is in these rooms and some of it is outside. The park has set up fans for the areas where you are waiting outside. The ride is a roller coaster type affair with 2 people per car and about 16 cars linked together for a single train. During Covid you are required to wear a mask inside and while on the ride. The ride goes forward and backward and some of it is in the dark so be warned that if you are prone to motion sickness you may want to skip this ride. For everyone else it is a fun ride that is different from most other roller coasters. On top of that part of the ride is nice and chilly, so on a hot day, this is a great place to cool off. Enjoy.

One of the best roller coasters in Disney, it was so much fun. It takes you to top of the hill and takes back where we will be thrilled to see Yeti’s figure in flashing lights.

So I’m wondering - is there a requirement to renew/repeat Disney manners training? As my son and I were boarding Expedition Everest at 8:05 am, I was putting my items in the safety pouch when RON came up and said pull the safety bar. I replied that I was putting my items in the safety bag (pretty obvious) to which he responded, “put the safety bar down. We’re ready to go.” I wanted to respond and ask how could I put things in the bag after the bar was down and how could we start the ride until we had done so.
Please extend my thanks to Ron for starting off my day so wonderfully. Pretty much ruined the ride for me. Hoping the rest of the day isn’t ruined.
I understand the importance of the safety bar. But his tone and attitude were way out of line and totally inappropriate.

Hola qué tal, actualmente me encuentro en Orlando y mañana iré a Animal Kingdom, si bien, soy una persona que sufre un poco de vértigo la adrenalina me gusta, hace tiempo no me subo a una montaña rusa y quisiera saber si esta es demasiado brusca o si tiene mucha altura, ya que lo más probable es que eso me cause malestar al principio. Espero sus respuestas! Saludos.

Ok ive a fear of sudden drops but my wife so wants to try everest but again i keep making excuses. I dont mind thunder mountain or seven drawfs but the everest looks intimidating and Ever since that universal drop in jussaric park ride i have a fear of drop in theme parks any suggestions on how the deop or in everest

There are no sudden drops. The only scary(ish) bit going backwards in the dark. After that it’s a breeze. YouTube the ride, some crazy nutters have filmed themselves on it.
