We had a great time on the Bayou Texar Torchlight Tour! It's a lovely path down to the bay and we got to see some beautiful wildlife. At the bay we got out and went on the beach and had a nice view of the bridge. Recommend!

My boyfriend and I had a lovely paddle. Jason was super friendly and accommodating with our schedule. We paddled out to Graffiti Bridge and walked around for a bit. We also got to see Herons and their chicks in the nest. Thanks Jason!

Jason and his staff are great. They make sure you are having fun and are safe. They are not overtly demanding like some kayaking rental places are. The kayaking/snorkeling trip to Deadman's island was a very enjoyable time for the whole group. I highly recommend them.

We live in the area so we decided to do some "Tourist" things locally. Based on all the positive reviews we chose to contact Pensacola PaddleSport Rental. Jayson, the manager, was very helpful on the phone and met us at the bayou. The rental office is right on the water.
As a party of five, we each chose a single-person kayak. Jayson lined them up for us and gave us a primer on adjustments, made some tour suggestions, and helped us get underway. Our trip was to go under the bridge and around to the Graffiti Bridge, out to the Three-mile Bridge and back to Bayou Texar. He said that the trip to Graffiti Bridge would take 25 minutes. He must have confused us for some competitive kayakers! We were there for the fun and relaxation so we made the first leg of the trip last 45 minutes. There was vegetation to see, fish and birds, the train, other boats and barges, as well as the beautiful homes along the canal.
It was a beautiful day on the water. Jayson also leads a candle-tour on Saturday nights and we are looking forward to that one as well.
The equipment was clean, well maintained, and the rate was very reasonable.

Our family rented a townhouse in Pensacola for a week. On day three we decided to rent a kayak and a paddle board to add to our fun.
We choose a two seat kayak and a paddle board. We rented both for a day. The price of the kayak was $50 and the paddle board was $40. Both were delivered, there is no added delivery charge.
They give you a call when are on the way to deliver and pick up the equipment.
They also provided life jackets for no added charge.
Great service. I will use them again if we return to Pensacola.

The people renting the equipment were very knowledgeable and patient with our questions (and my having to run back to the hotel for my driver's license). The Kindergarten teacher kept an eye on us the whole hour, and even shared the binoculars with my mom who was waiting in a beach chair! My 8 year-young daughter and I finally caught the hang of jumping the waves of my husband and son after the reassurance of the whistle attached to our life jackets, the boundaries that we could easily see, and the guy watching us with Oma. Well worth the $$-a trip we will never forget!!

Pensacola paddlesport rental had the best service and price around. We rented 2 for 5 days and then added an extra day. Service of delivering our paddle boards was excellent. They were in great condition and delivered and picked up on time. Thank you Jayson!

We did the five island hop, shoving off at about 8 a.m. with our guide, Luke, who was terrific. He was the nicest guy, took lots of great photos for us, and emailed them to us afterwards. So easy to work with to get the reservation made, nice kayaks to go out on, the whole thing was a great experience. There is something to do outdoors besides just hang out on the beach when you visit Pensacola. Give this a try!

We had such a great time! Was a beautiful night on the bay- would highly recommend this tour- I am so glad my husband and I went- we will go this again and next time bring my son- he would love this too!! No bathrooms available though- go before you get to the park as they are locked and or out of order. Glad we took water bottles too!

Head over to beautiful Bayview Park on Bayou Texar and rent a kayak or paddleboard (or canoe, rowboat or peddleboat) and get out on the water. Luke will get you equipped and ready to go. We rented a paddleboard for an hour and Luke was very generous with his instruction and help to get a beginner started. We came back the next evening to rent a tandem kayak and enjoyed the torchlight guided tour. We can't wait to go back and paddle again soon. Rental fees were reasonable and he can even deliver equipment for use elsewhere in the area or you can pick up equipment yourself. We are glad to have run across their website and to find Bayview Park. Check out the dog beach, that was very popular too.
