Our tour guide Bill was incredible! He had a vast knowledge of the wildlife in the Mangroves and Golf, along with plant life. We had a phenomenal time and would recommend spending the afternoon in the area. Dogg Island was also a highlight!

I live right down the road from this place and they have CLOSED!!! It was a great place I learned how to kayak from them and everyone was real nice. I was very sad to see them close.

Marion and crew are top notch all around. Kayak, Stand up, they got it all.

We took our two grandchildren (12 & 14) on their first kayak adventure and all had a great time. It was a 2.5 hr tour and our guide was excellent. We all learned a lot! The mangroves were really interesting to go thru. I would recommend this tour to all that can paddle easily for a couple of hours. Oh yes, we did do double kayaks. We loved it so much, we bought a kayak ourselves!!!

At first I was a little unsure of our guide Ashlee. She is a young lady, well kept but with wild hair. I wasn't sure what we had gotten into. Contrary to initial feelings, she made us feel at ease right away. Really taking her time with us, she remembered everyone in our group's names and was a wealth of information. I never even thought about how a manatee gets their freshwater to drink living in salt water before...now I know, and anyone that can teach my kids and have them retain the information while they are having fun is a miracle worker in my eyes! Just goes to show, don't judge a book by a cover. And what is professional in one profession may not be in others. Towards the end, I realized her appearance and personality was what created our awesome experience. Thanks Ashlee, see you next year!

We rented 2 double Kayaks from Grande Tours. We logged about a mile away and they delivered the Kayaks to us the next day. The conditions of the Kayaks were excellent. The facility is very nice. After asking if they would a little lower price from a rental place down the street they said absolutely yes because we rented for a whole week. We can definitely recommend this place.

Rented a 2 person Kayak for the day. It was 60 bucks. The owner was very friendly. Right away that set off a great impression. He put the kayak on top of my SUV for me and secured it. I was provided with 2 paddles and 2 life vests. I mentioned that I was taking my 4 year old son on the kayak too. Not a problem....they gave me a cushion that is especially designed for a small child to sit in between the person in the front and the person in the back. We launched our kayak off the dock of our rental home. We had a great time. The kayaks were very stable. When I returned the kayak the next day, a nice female with dreads helped me take the kayak off...she too was very personable and friendly. Super friendly service, reasonable prices and great kayaks make for a terrific experience !

My family and I took the 2 hour guided trip through the mangroves and absolutely loved it. You don't need to be a skilled kayaker, but you do need to be able to paddle for the 2 hours ( some against the current). On our tour day it was windy and pretty tiring. My dad and 12 yr old son had to be towed by the guide on the way back. On the tour we saw a dolphin up close, lots of osprey, herons, and brown pelicans, and gorgeous blue sky. Our guide taught us about the three types of mangroves and how they grow. We were the only kayak group out that day! If you are looking to see the beauty of Florida beyond the beaches, take this tour. It was $55 per person plus tip.

We went out from Grande Tours today and had a great time.
The kayaks are excellent. The location is convenient also and easy to find.
Manatees and dolphins can be seen and the water is easy to handle for those new to paddling.

My friends & I recently got into the sport of kayaking. After going on two escorted tours, we ventured out on our own. Capt Marion & the staff are wonderful there. They have a huge selection of sit in & sit on top Kayaks & the prices are reasonable. They're not sticklers for going 15 minutes over your time either. We paddled over to Dog Island for snacks & libations (you've got to bring your own!) & a respite.
