Great trip with the crew on an awesome boat. Captain knew where to get us some fish, and his first mate did an great job.

Great morning fishing, pulled in wahoo, king, and black fin tuna. Capt got us on the fish after a little bit and Kayleigh was a perfect mate. The knowledge and experience she has made the trip memorable. Thanks for a great time Capt and K

We have fished with Captain Harold for years, and on many occasions. You never return from this charter without fish! The Captain is knowledgeable and experienced, and fun to be with. This year he has a new mate K, who is top notch and personable. Together they are a dynamic duo. Boat is comfortable and in great condition. This charter is located right at the Hillsboro inlet, so you are in the ocean in minutes (versus a long trek up the Intracoastal, waiting for bridges to open....) This maximizes fishing time! Highly, highly recommend Harold and K!!

What a fabulous trip today. Had us on fish within minutes of leaving the dock. The boat is extremely comfortable and well appointed. Our mate, Kayleigh, was a joy. Very friendly and competent. She worked hard all day and was attentive to our needs. When we got our sailfish she helped land it like a true pro. The skipper Harold is just as friendly and capable. Even recommended a place to take our fish to to have it prepared for dinner. I will be back and going out on the Happy Snapper again.

I had a fishing charter cancel last minute, and another one no show. Walked down to the docks and Captain Harold was able to fit me in last minute. Was a trip of a lifetime with my daughter who had never been out deep sea fishing. We only went two hours as she got sea sick, but were able to get on Wahoo, Mahi and a sailfish. Mate Kaylee was amazing, and Captain Harold was very passionate, great duo and would highly recommend. Can't wait to get out again, thank you again!!

Went aboard the Happy Snapper for a family fishing trip. Captain Harold and Mate Kaylee were fantastic. We arrived early and they were cleaning the fish from their earlier charter... we were excited to see that they had success and we were looking forward to the adventure to come. The boat located in a beautiful slip, right at the Hillsboro inlet. It is easy to get to and easier to get out on the ocean. The boat is in wonderful condition, incredibly clean, and handled rough seas great.
Once we embarked on our voyage, we quickly started catching fish. Mate Kaylee was incredible. Not only was she great at setting up the spread and helping us land fish, she was incredibly knowledgeable. She gladly and cheerfully answered the questions we had and helped us learn to become better fishermen. (I'm looking forward to trying some of these tips next time we go out!) Captain Harold also spent time with us answering our questions and teaching us a few things.
The first fish we caught was a monster sailfish, over 85 inches. Watching Kaylee pull that monster out of the ocean and on to the boat was incredible, the fish was as big as we were! From there we were catching Wahoo and Tuna, all the while enjoying the laugher of friends and some great jokes from Capt and Kaylee. My wife was along with us on the trip and Kaylee was teaching her about each fish that she caught, and helped make it incredibly engaging for her. She went above and beyond, and because of that, my wife is already asking me when we can go again. She's hooked!
Captain Harold and Kaylee really cared about showing us a great time, and we were fortunate enough to catch a lot of fish. We're absolutely going to be fishing with them again.

Fabulous time as always on Happy Snapper. Captain and Mate are very accommodating. Caught some great dolphin and rosies. Captain was really knowledgeable
about spots to go for fish. Happy Snapper has been our choice for many years. The experience and knowledge shows on the Happy Snapper.

Four hours of circling figure 8. If there were no activity of fish more than two hours later, you’d think the Capt will change spots or techniques to get on the fish. Not so. I guess the Capt wouldn’t want to go too far and burn more fuel. Lack of bait with old outdated fishing gear. I’ve never seen such outdated poorly maintained gear. With only 1 fish caught in four hours and the lack of will or effort to try and catch fish, they should be advertising themselves as a Four Hour Figured 8 Boat Ride. Don’t let the 48’ Viking fool you like it did to us.
