The ladies that run this book store are FABULOUS!!!! Oh yeah, I don't use that tern casually. I tend to not go to book stores as I am either "hovered over" or ignored completely. These folks engage you and WANT you to feel the passion they do for books. I have never left this store with anything but JOY that I visited. They are now relocating to a location in downtown that will only give them maximum exposure and for sure insure their success. I will continue to support this store and send all of my new friends their way.

This is a quaint local bookstore run by friendly, knowledgeable staff. The selection was impressive for a small store, and they can order anything not in stock. It's so nice to interact with those who have a love of books and the concern for customers.

A peaceful and personal experience. Copperfish gives personal attention to each customer. They have many wine and cheese events presenting authors and books. If you are looking for something that is not available, Copperfish will happily make sure that you have it soon.

Specializing in Florida authors and also carrying a marvelous variety of new and used titles, gift items, children's books, postcards, magnets, etc. Even the customers were friendly -- we met a local author (Libby) who was kind enough to autograph her book for me. Just be sure you check, because the hours of operation can be odd.

Great bookstore in a great town. If you want to browse a wonderful selection of books and feel like you are home then Copperfish is the place to be. They have many events at the store and I recommend that you arrive early since they fill up quickly. Drop what you are doing and pay a visit, you'll be glad that you did!

Punta Gorda is lucky to have a wonderful local bookstore near downtown: Copperfish Books. Kathy and Serena are the owners.They can order any book, sell old, barely used, and new books, plus great gifts. Weekly, and sometimes more than once a week, the bookstore holds book clubs, talks by new authors, talks by established authors, and all are fun to attend. Refreshments are served and laughter is always present.
