We loved this amazing & informative tour of the turtle hospital. Small tour (just 4) of facility & learned a great deal about turtles. Viewed room where they do surgery. Up close viewing of turtles in recovery. Great mission. Glad we supported!

We visited the sea turtle hospital in October 2021 - after struggling a bit to find the exact location (no clear signs) we had a blast once the friendly & informed staff gave us a very informative tour & we could see the recovering turtles in various stages in tanks. The natural beauty of the area around the sea turtle hospital makes this an outing that one could easily spend a very happy morning on. Highly recommended!

We attended the Thursday morning tour of the hospital. Information was presented explaining the research being performed on the FP virus that is affecting the green sea turtle population. Questions were answered through out the tour. We were able to see 3 turtles in large tanks and the each one’s problems and rehabilitation were discussed. We saw the building where the food is prepared and stored. Several people were able to place food troughs into the water. There is a well designed education center and gift shop. The cost of the tour is very reasonable and we looked at it as a contribution to their research. You need to make reservations as space is limited

We took a tour of the turtle hospital. It was such a detailed tour including the operating room, feeding station and turtle rehab pools. The staff is doing an amazing job rescuing and helping the turtles. This was very informative and there was an interactive exhibit for children as well. It would be best for children 6 and older.

Great place to learn about sea turtles! The tour was small and the staff made it very personable and educational for everyone in our group. Highly recommended.

How close is this to the Whitney Lab Sea Turtle Hospital? I will be attending a seminar for Canaveral National Seashore & Florida Wildlife and would like to tour the hospital.

It is 1 hour north of Cape Canaveral, near St. Augustine across from Marineland.
