October 5th 2015 which was Ohgr's birthday which is coming to St Pete April 11th happy birthday to me super stoked only this year I will be sober clean and sober for over 4 years now I'm actually going to remember it this time!!!!!

The transphobes at Jannus Live kicked my friend out for using the their preferred bathroom. We were hoping to be able to enjoy the music and use the facilities just like everyone else, but the fact that my friend was trans and using a public bathroom was just too much for staff at Jannus live and they had us leave. We will not be coming back to support their bigotry. It’s absolutely disgusting and the owners ought to be ashamed. I’ll be doing everything I can to make sure other people know exactly the kind of venue Jannus live is. Also rather ironically, the Roman god, Janus, was literally the god of transitions.

Outdoor venue with plenty of places to grab a drink. Sound quality is great. Gets very crowded quickly so get there early.

I’ve been to many concerts with a variety of standing/seating options, and I have to say this one was by far the worst. I have no problem with outdoor venues/standing room only, but I get claustrophobic and so I usually try to stand towards the back where there’s a bit more space. This place is so tiny though, and they tried to pack in so many people (felt like they sold way too many tickets) so from the front all the way to the bathrooms in the back, there wasn't a single spot that wasn't crowded. And then, there's no re-entry so you can't even leave to get some air and come back in. Even in October in Florida it’s hot, and with so many people around the heat was miserable. Crowd was incredibly rude too; we stood under this slightly elevated area with railing and the people on the higher level kept blowing cigarette smoke into our faces, and dropping ash on our heads. Got bumped into/stepped on multiple times without an excuse me, apology, or any acknowledgment at all. People around us constantly yelling about random stuff unrelated to the show so we could barely hear the songs. Definitely won't be coming back here.

Bleacher style seating in the rear, and standing room only in the front. It was a little too loud making it hard to hear the music. The performers were great, had a blast.

I was here for the first time last night. Came from the East cost of Florida. I was attending a concert & Gates were scheduled to open at 9:00.
I arrived at the venue and saw 30 people standing in line, so I joined them. Luckily someone walked by and asked if the line I was in was the VIP line. Turns out it was so I wasted my time in that line. I found the GA line wrapped around the block.
Jumped in that line & finally got through the gate at around 10:15. The headliner was playing when I got through the gate so I have no idea how much of the show I actually missed.
If it takes over an hour to get people into this place, the gates should open an hour before the show starts...
Awesome concert (well the parts I saw).

Recently attended a concert for the first time and it will be the last. Too many restrictions for a fun night out. Once you're in the venue you can't get out (similar to the "Hotel California"!) Tried to leave for a bit and return for the featured performance and couldn't. Way too crowded, and standing room only - in this heat, people were dropping like flies.

I’ve seen a couple shows at JL now. We normally get there early as it’s GA and get a area on the balcony to each the show. JL has now started selling more VIP areas so the only balcony area is blocked by the only tree in the venue. Our last show we watched from the floor area and the view was still amazing. Beers aren’t overly priced and they had more than enough bartenders to handle the crowd. Can’t wait for the next show.

We came here for a concert and it's a pretty cool place. All outside and decorated with lights in the trees. You can hear the band from anywhere and moving through the crowd was easy and even though we got there later we were still able to stand in a great place. VIP was up in the balcony and I think there is a restaurant up there but we didn't go so I cant say for sure what all is up there.
The concert we went to was an adult concert and I would not being my children. Its outside so everyone is smoking (and smoking everything) and alcohol is served so people were a little silly but that's expected. There was also a guy on the balcony who threw his beer down below so it's a cool place to hang out and have a good time but there's a jerk in every crowd. It didn't ruin our evening and we enjoyed it.
