Nice park by the water. Seen 2 dolphins. Has a military tank, small playground, bathrooms, plenty of parking. Located next to the va.

The hiking trail here is level and mostly shaded. If you enjoy wildlife, you are very likely to encounter foxes, Ospreys, and few friendly snakes and definitely some armadillos rustling through the palmetto scrub.

Very small park.Go to another park if you’d like to walk. This is pretty much a boat launch.Seminole lake is a little bit up the road , north of Bay Pines has a beautiful park for walking, picnic tables, & a playground .Like all of Florida,..the lake has alligators of course, so not for swimming. Path for walking. It’s Is much better park w/ a boat launch. there.

This park is nicely maintained and there are several places to put kayaks or canoes into the water. It has a good view of the drawbridge that leads to Walsingham and of some hotels at St. Pete Beach across the water. There's one area that really smells though near the water. I mean it was awful

I have been to many group picnics at this park, usually the favorite spots are right next to the bay. It’s nice to have a roof over the tables for shade. Breezy, lovely views. However, at certain times of the year, there are tiny gnats you can’t see, “no see-umms”, that have a big bite.

Choice of several shelters with picnic tables with great water views. Only issue is the mosquitoes during parts of the year.

We rode our bikes over to this park and it was a lovely, shady ride through the entrance, then opening up to views of the bay, picnic areas and playgrounds. Of course there is a war memorial that has a sundial and a tank, which are interesting ways to teach your kids about both science and history.

Found this stroll worthy environ by accident one day. After driving down the wrong road, I ended up spending an hour walking about and just sitting at this out-of-the-way reserve. Watch planes lift off or sailboats launch. Bring a book for quiet time or a picnic with friends. Free parking

First impressions are typically lasting impressions. My first impression here was, "This place was litter free", at least this Sunday morning. Nicely maintained roads and parking areas. The views from the end of the park near the point are very impressive. Spectacular water views and numerous boats moving along the Intercoastal area. The rest rooms were clean and stocked and it seems everything was working. There is an area to launch your Kayaks and Water Boards for free, but the boat ramps area does have a fee. The park itself is free, but there is a fee to rent out a covered shelter picnic area. There is also a nature trail and a Battlefield Cross Memorial honoring the military service members from the county that have died in the Gulf War.

Great place for the water views, just a good place to sit and watch all the activity going on in Boca Ciega Bay. Two playgrounds for the kids with nice equipment. They have a great walking path for exercise. Wish they would reopen the Army Tank so the kids could play on it.

Yes, there are walking trails. As long as you wish: from just a few feet to as long as a mile or more. They are through woods and along the shoreline. It's a beautiful place for reflection and exercize.
