Very interesting. There was high wind and the boat was unable to cruise. They had a dj that was awesome. Lunch was top notch. Service was awesome. They kept us busy for 3 hours. We would like to do again when we can actually see the sights.

Absolutely amazing! From the moment you board the riverboat every was was so friendly! The food was out of this world we had the prime rib, melted in your mouth! Food was abundance!!!

We bought tickets for the comedy wedding and dinner. We were looking forward to this since we used to work for a company that did a dinner theater show. The show was awful. It was chaos. The sound was terrible. Not sure if the cast had a script or just ad lib. None of it was funny. Not one person had any talent. They did not interact with many of the guests. The dinner service was so slow and the food was sub par. My husband sent back his gray piece of tough prime rib. Really disappointing.

The dinner theater is performed by a talented group of entertainers from a third party company and follows a script. These entertainers are actual actors, not staff, that perform across Orlando in a number of events. They have been successfully performing this show since May. The dinner is interwoven with the theatrical components of the script and is structured to be served across the entire length of the trip. I'm sorry you were disappointed. I suspect that since you have a theatrical background, your bar might be higher than average.

The service was great and I ordered chicken parmigiana the chicken was soggy, the noodles weren't done and had very little sauce. My friend has celiac and was listed on her ticket but that didn't matter. The diesel fumes on the back of the boat were so strong there was NO way you could sit back there. Disappointing

We offer 8 entrees to all guests. There are a number of gluten free, celiac friendly options onboard the boat including the prime rib with mashed potatoes, salmon, tropical chicken, and entree salads. Any meal that is not served to your liking can be sent back to the kitchen for correction or a different entree. We have air curtains on all doors to help with temperature control and outside elements from entering the air-conditioned, climate controlled area. We also use tobacco eaters, which also help eat any smoke that enters the boat.

We had an AMAZING time on the Barbara Lee!!! We took the lunch cruise n it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! WE HAD A BLAST!!!! The food was very delicious n the staff was INCREDIBLE!!!! Check it out cause you will have an AMAZING time!!!!

My wife and I used Senior Adventures to take the Fourth of July dinner cruise. Boarding was easy. Cash bar accepted CC also. Seating was not as bad as some dinner cruises. We have been on the Calypso Queen also. Staff friendly, efficient & very active. We were on the second floor with Jamie our server and Cindy our bar tender. We recommend the second floor because the band is on the first floor. If you want to dance their is a dance floor on the second floor also. When seated there in pasta salad, veggies/dip & fruit on the table. Jamie took our orders. Then we had steamed shrimp. My wife & I had the Prime Rib: recommend. Fireworks began while we finished our entre. When you go top deck you can see fireworks 360 degrees on the horizon. Do not be impatient. Eventually the Barbara Lee will stop near Sanford. Then you will be treated with Sanford's fireworks. There is a wait to dock due to all the smaller boat traffic. Outside is good viewing but it got buggie. Inside is good also but windows get steamy.

My friend Paula and I took a Lamer's bus trip from Ocala to The Barbara Lee paddleboat. It was our treat for ourselves on Mother's Day.
What a great mini 'cruise 'up The St. Johns River, great experience and super way to spend the day.
We had excellent service from 'Ms Personality' Sarah. We each ordered the prime rib that came with tasty horse-radish sauce and sides. Yum-eeeee! The boats famous 'sticky buns' were great too.
There were fresh flowers on each table and upon departing the boat...all mother's received a carnation.
What a great mini 'cruise 'up The St. Johns River, great experience and super way to spend the day.

The trip itself was enjoyable, The staff was helpful and friendly. The food however was not enjoyable. Our meals were between cold and lukewarm. The fish was returned to be warmed up, but it was still lukewarm, and mushy. The prime rib was fairly tender, but cold, which was very unpleasant and surprising. Other guests had the same problem so it was not just our meals.

We joined a group to go on a luncheon cruise on the St. John's Rivership out of Sanford, Florida. The cruise was very nice - fabulous views! The lunch was excellent! I had prime rib. My wife had one of the many chicken choices. Prior to the main meal we were served a few Hors d'oeuvres (raw vegetables and dip) followed by some caramel and nut rolls (Yum!). We paid a little extra for the shrimp cocktail (yummy). During the cruise we had some narration regarding the Sr. John's River. We had some contests. We had GREAT music by the entertainer JIMMY VENTURA! He played all the great songs! It was a great time!

We were seated on the upper deck which is like being seated in an attic. The entertainment on the main deck was shown on a dark screen for us and with all the noise we could hardly hear the singer. The atmosphere for us was just a fraction of the main floor’s decor. All interaction with the singer took place on the main floor. It was as if we weren’t there, even though we paid the same price. For four hours we froze with very cold air conditioning and were told they could not warm it up. Most people had their jackets on while they ate. The chicken parmesan was the worst I’ve ever tasted. Any wine or drinks were excessively expensive and the coffee was the worst we ever tasted.

I would call for cost because there are a couple choices and different prices. We went on a weekday and it was about 100 for a couple. Well worth it -food is great and it is a lot of fun with music and dancing!

I have an 85 year old mother that is in a wheel chair. She can transfer to a chair but she is unable to walk more than a couple of steps and i need to know if you can accomidate her

She can get on the ship and ask to be seated where there are no steps but there is a threshold she would have to step over. This threshold is a requirement for the ship. I would call and ask them about special accommodations.

I had to look up what port charges are.
It is Taxes and surcharge which apply to a ship and/or the cargo on board the ship once it has reached port. I believe this happens on Ocean Cruises and are also a
part of the fee charged and not separate.
This is a River Dinner Cruise You will not be on the Ocean, it is all River. It is a day trip down the River and Back up. All taxes are included when they quote you a price. You may opt to leave a tip, but that is up to you. You may opt to purchase alcohol, again up to you.
