The trip was ok. The website says dolphins seen daily. We did not see any. That was the main reason we took the tour. Matt was our tour guide and he did a good job. It was a scenic tour of the mangroves but if you’re looking for wildlife be aware you may not see any

Had an awesome time through the mangroves and the hidden beach is so beautiful. Our guide Dave was extremely informative and a whole lot of fun. They are great with people who have never kayaked up to experienced and made sure we were safe and having a great time. Can't wait to go again!

My daughter, her BF and I, had an amazing self guided tour renting from Ultimate Kayak SRQ. We decided to kayak and paddle-board, literally at 9 PM on a Saturday night and schedule it the next morning. Unsure if that was too late to schedule and pay, online, we called the ‘after hour’ number listed and the owner answered -while on vacation himself! He accommodated us and we met up with Cody Sunday AM at our agreed-upon time. Cody was so accommodating as well! We will definitely use them again. The process was easy and they made us feel safe and comfortable. 5 out of 5!

Awesome tour this morning with Jeff! I almost didn’t do this because my family doesn’t do well in the sun, but I am SO glad I did! I think I may have seen a manatee, but the tour was worth it even without that. Jeff is a great tour guide and clearly loves what he does. He did an awesome job explaining the different types of marine life in the area and telling us facts about the mangroves and Florida. It was HOT out there and he warned us in the very beginning of the tour that it would be. I would definitely suggest bringing more water than you think you need. They have dry bags available for use and tell you everything you need to know. There were people with all different experience levels on our tour-Jeff did a great job helping those who needed it. The hidden beach was awesome-I would recommend wearing your shoes when you get out there because the sand is lava! If we ever make it down to Siesta Key again, I will absolutely do this again.

Great experience! Easy to book, pay and tip! Welcoming local team at Turtle Beach lagoon. Plenty of equipment for many people to come and rent various types of kayaks.

Locals entertaining family from out of town. First time renters from Ultimate. Had a great afternoon on the water. kayaks were in good shape overall. Paddles were great. Gentleman who set us on our way and check us out as we finished was great. Very courteous and knowledgeable. Will return for sure

I am a regular kayaker who rented from Ultimate Kayak SRQ for all of March. I have nothing but great things to say about the experience. The equipment is high end and well maintained. The seats are super comfortable, which is important if you are on the water for a decent paddle. The service is also second to none. Pete is the hardest working man on Siesta Key and cares a great deal about his customers.

Friendly, efficient staff to get us setup and out on the water. We are experiencing kayakers who have been to the area so we were comfortable renting for three hours and heading out with the provided self tour map.
