Almost Heaven Kayak Adventures was a great addition to our corporate event. We had 30 people that did the kayaking tour during a free afternoon provided during a conference and everyone enjoyed their experience with this company. The staff was flexible & great to work with from the beginning! All the way from planning this tour for our group to the professionalism they provided to our conference attendees they were hands down the best!

Our tour guides Chris and Phil were awesome! They had lots of energy and were very knowledgeable of the wildlife and waterway. We did see a few manatees and bottlenose dolphins.
We had a group of 29 people and they did a great job keeping the tour personable.
I would highly recommend!

My husband and I did the Lido Mangrove Tunnel tour, & were lucky enough to have the tour to ourselves. Phil, our tour guide, was outstanding, very knowledgeable about the area & ecosystem. We saw lots of manatees, different kinds of fish, egrets, got to touch a jellyfish, and learned a lot about the mangroves. Highly recommended!

We were lucky to get a whole private tour for our family of three. Chris was such a good tour guide who has extensive knowledge of the area and manatees. We learned so much from him, and he was very patient with how slow we kayaked:) overall we had a great experience seeing a mommy manatee and a baby one!

We had an amazing time kayaking with Chris.
He was really polite and he did everything to made our trip the best one.
We couldn’t see any manatees but we watched two beautiful dolphins swimming really close to us.

Definitely recommend Almost Heaven Kayak Adventures to locals & out of towners looking for an epic kayak tour. Phil, our guide, was full of knowledge from the sea life to local dining spots. A must if you love kayaking!!! We say Manatees & got a full tour of the Mangroves.

We had an amazing time. We saw dolphins and manatees. Chris was our guide and gave us an awesome experience. Would book again 10/10 great experience. If you are debating if it’s worth it just go.

I went with the earliest tour (9:30am) and we saw a group of manatees. They came up to our kayaks and were swimming around us. I think that the morning is a good time to see animals.

U saw a 12 foot alligator. Weren't you afraid of it or afraid that it might come after the people in the canoes?

It is unlikely for one to see an alligator in saltwater. In fresh water alligators are prevalent. If kayaking in freshwater, make sure you check with Florida Fish and Wildlife website before you go.

Hi there. Our Lido Mangrove Tunnel tour is our most popular tour because of the incredible canopy covered kayak trails through a Mangrove forest! The Siesta Key Tour is beautiful as well, but there are no Mangrove Tunnels. Instead, we paddle through a serene nature preserve and take a break on a secluded beach where there is an oppurtunity for some of the best shelling in the area! Either one is a great way to spend a couple hours on the water. Also if you are lucky, there is a chance of seeing dolphins or manatees on either tour. Thanks and we look forward to paddling with you.

We booked it like the day before, so I don't think there's a line for it. There was only one couple who went with us on the morning trip so it was more of a personal tour.

We use sit on top kayaks which are easier to get in and out of . the lido mangrove tunes tour lasts for 2 1/2 hrs

Hello
The best tour for Beginners would be the Lido mangrove tunes tour which lasts for 2 1/2 hrs l. You would be in the kayaks for the duration of the tour.
The tour is in 2 parts the first half you are on the bay looking for wildlife the second half you are in the mangrove tunnels and there it is shady.
The tour is enjoyable for all ages

I would think he would be fine. the water is calm, the kids wear life vests. And you would be in a double kayak with him. Our tour there were small kids. I think the grandparents had more problems than the little kids actually!
