Great excursion for the whole family, English skills required for the explanations of the guides, sun protection important!
We were the only ones in the afternoon and so had a private tour. The waters around the mangroves are not deep, water shoes are good if you want to get out, but not required, sun protection is, even on the legs!
The guides are great: friendly, helpful, prepared, punctual, explain well and interesting and also respond to individual interests.
Unfortunately we didn't see any manatees (it was very hot), but many other interesting animals!
An all-round worthwhile excursion that couldn't have been better!

Very easy to find, and staff, Ian, was super knowledgeable. Beautiful way to spend a couple of hours out on the water. Saw lots of wildlife.

Sea Life Kayak Adventures guided tour was AMAZING! Went down with a group of friends and this tour was by far our favorite activity we did on vacation. Kenny was so helpful and knowledgeable, he even showed me a trick to get in and out of the kayak with ease. We learned so much about the marine life living in and around the mangroves Kenny was very quick to answer all of the questions we had. I will definitely be booking with him again on our text trip down to Sarasota! Take this tour, it’s a must!

Ian is the best! He is very informative and funny which made the trip even better! He took photos and video so we didn’t miss any memories! I’m a native Floridian and had never kayaked through the tunnels - it was really worth the trip! We saw lots or birds, mullet jumping, and 2 manatees (momma and baby). Take the adventure, you won’t regret it!

Our guide Ian was entertaining as well as informative. It was my first time in a kayak but, after a brief instruction and a few minutes on the water it was a piece of cake. However, the surest indicator this trip was worth the money is… Wife didn’t want to go and wasn’t saying I told you so on the walk back to our rental!

I agree with Richard. Easy to paddle and it’s not a race so just take your time and enjoy. Each tour is roughly a couple of hours, give or take a little. Jeffrey
