Love the water was very nice day with boats going by and seen the unconditional soldier statue that is Hugh which stands at about 26 feet tall and also plenty of options to eat as well

A beauty park to walk through, sidewalks take you to Sarasota Bsy and the marina near beautiful boats. The sunset is beautiful!! And a great view of the Ringling Bridge. A new playground is about to open.

Really cool place! Plenty of parking, nice scenery all around! Unfortunately the park was closed off, hopefully done soon but that took a little away from the experience for my boys. But we did catch a few fish and really liked the area, we'll be back.

Nice walking area with great views of the bay and downtown. Calm waters and little sandy beach areas alongside the walkway. Much of the park was blocked off with huge fences, otherwise 5/5.

Nice area for walking , running, people watching, setting, looking out over the bay, area has many sightseeing boats available , has many charter boats available for fishing at the marina

Bayfront Park in Sarasota, Florida, doesn't remind of Central Park in New York or Lincoln Park in Chicago. But this waterfront green space with a promenade, playground, splash pad, Tiki bar, restaurant and a panoramic view of Sarasota Bay and the city is a popular go-to destination for joggers, bicyclists, fishermen, hikers, wildlife and bird watchers, picnickers, dog walkers, canoeing and kayaking and people who enjoy watching the sun set over the bay. Located at 5 Bayfront Drive, at Ringling Boulevard, next to Marina Jack, it is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Pets are allowed outside the Steigerwaldt-Jockey Children's Fountain area. Restrooms are available. After dining at nearby Marina Jack's, my wife and I enjoy walking to Bayfront Park and watch the fishing boats and tourist boats come and go. Some of the largest yachts you've ever seen moor at Marina Jack's, ocean-going cruisers that cost $2 million or more. In addition, don't forget to observe the Bioswale. It is a channel designed to concentrate and convey stormwater runoff while removing debris and pollution from hard surfaces such as sidewalks, driveways, roadways and rooftops. In addition to preventing erosion and improving water quality inside a Bioswale, native plants provide essential food and habitat for local wildlife, birds, butterflies and other insects. At Bayfront Park, visitors are encouraged to see if they can spot such native plants as Cabbage Palm, Railroad Vine, Mangrove Spider Lily, Trailing Porterweed and Sea Purslane.

The park has interesting chairs to sit and relax, you can fish, watch the boats as it is on the water. Playground. Activities

We visited with grandkids on opening day of the Embracing our Differences exhibit. It was professionally done and the boards were wonderful. Nice having food trucks too.
