Beautiful serene park,great for a family walk.I had my 6 year old grandson with me full of energy, he loved the playground, even made some new friends!

Nice park for people who live in the area. Eat the park. Since we live in Dunedin, it was a bit of a drive for us and we think the parks nearby our area offer better trails and amenities. Still, we enjoyed the boardwalk and observation tower. Good pavilions for picnics and family gatherings.

Yes! We were waking a trail and saw a bobcat right in front of us! Very nice preservation of a marshy area. I just love this simple park for all it's nature.

We launched our paddleboard from Boca Ciega Millenium park for the first time this morning. The trail to the water and the mangrove tunnel leading out to the bay is scenic, but it is FILLED with mosquitos. We had bug spray, but we were swarmed. Once we got out into the open water it was fine, but it's a shame you need to get through that tunnel so quickly, all the while being relentlessly attacked. I'm not sure we'll launch from there again.
Other than that, it was a great Sunday morning paddle ... very quiet, no one around, very pleasant.

Beautiful park in unincorporated Seminole. We have driven past the entrance 100s of times but decided to drive in and check it out.
The road is curvy, fun to drive and lots of greenery on each side. The area is very clean and well-maintained. We found the dual-sided dog park (small dog size, large dog size). Our dog was with us so how could we deprive him of a visit.
One other dog, Marble, was there playing ball with his owner. This was Diesel's first dog park visit in Florida (we live next to a walking park where he gets his daily strolls). There was some grass but mostly sandy soil and it was funny to see him experience the sand. He was a bit apprehensive and stayed close to us but was excited to be off leash. Ever notice how your dog's eggs look feral when he is exploring new things?
It was a good time, Diesel met Marble and we all had fun. Next time we'll introduce him to the agility section and see how that goes.

Do yourself a favor and download a map of the park from the Internet before going because there are none available on site and the trails are not marked. There is a special area marked as a dog park, but dogs, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades and scooters are not allowed on the boardwalks. The restrooms are only open on the weekends.

Florida has the most awesome parks !
There was a pond with residents fishing with poles and nets.
This park had a huge boardwalk that just seemed to keep going and going. It was so nice. One offshoot led to a pond with fish jumping everywhere. There was a tower to climb also.
Regrets that the gift shop was closed.

Nice elevated walk, but it would be better if a boardwalk went out to the water. The only shoreline access is a very wet, boggy trail to a mudflat (when the tide is out), or a kayak trail.

Boca Ciega Millennium Park is one of the largest parks in Pinellas County. Its natural looks are captivating, and there's so much to do!
Keeping it natural, the park is also well-taken care of, it has practically all the amenities there, for anybody. There are spacious parking places, sheltered picnic areas, pedestrian and bike trails and paths, a huge dog park (separate for large and small dogs), playgrounds for kids, restrooms, boardwalks, a huge observation deck with fascinating scenic views; there's also a fishing access to the bay, and several picturesque ponds. There's so much to do! ...
The park rules and regulations are nicely displayed on various info boards.
Loved visiting this park, loved taking photos! ... Was lucky to see and take a photo of a stork - at first, I thought it was a statue, but then it moved :)
And ponds look like on a postcard, and even better.

Very large park, but the road takes you to a parking lot about 1/2 mile or less from a two story viewing platform. Nice boardwalk through the trees to get there. Terrific bay view.

The park also has a covered, barrier-free playground for kids and a dog park for both small and large dogs. The small dog park includes an obstacle course for training.

The park has picnic areas, a dog park, fishing areas and playgrounds as well as great hiking/ walking paths. The park closes at dusk each day and is closed the day after Thanksgiving and the day after Christmas.

Yes! One of our favorite places to kayak - just be sure to check out the tide charts before you go and go at high tide!
