Playing this Golf Course is an exercise in futility. There is zero customer service from the time you arrive until the time you leave. Arrogant Pro Shop Personnel and even worse Course Rangers, if you can find one. Did not tee off on time, as they pack way too many people onto the course at the same time. Held up all day and sat in the cart waiting on every shot. What should have been a fun time turned into a 4:40 round from hell. Do not bother to ask for any assistance, as they seem to thrive on confrontation with their guests. Bottom line, avoid this Golf Course.

I have played this course many times since the renovation. The superintendent has done s great job of putting this public golf course in “private club” condition. The greens have been firm, smooth, and very fast. The fairways and tee boxes have been nearly perfect. They recently did extensive maintenance to the whole course. I played it this morning and I am happy to report that the fairways and greens are growing in beautifully. The holes are well designed with a lot variety and the course makes golfers use all their clubs. The entire staff is courteous and professional. The food in the clubhouse restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. Two thumbs up.

I played on a recent early Sunday morning. Upon arriving, the drive into the clubhouse had the feeling of a private club. I checked in at the pro shop which was nicely appointed with various merchandise. The staff was welcoming and helpful
I found the practice areas to be exceptional. The course is amazing. I play at least 40 rounds per year (excluding the summer heat) throughout south Florida. This course is a must play if you enjoy and appreciate a challenging but fair layout and exceptional conditions. The conditions are exceptional. In fact, I played after a day of rain and the course was relatively wet. However, the Superintendent managed it very well by mandating “cart path only” conditions. Very well managed. Despite the rain during the previous day, the course was very playable. The sand bunkers were a little wet but maintained and playable.
The tee-boxes and fairways were like carpets, consistent with very few divots, I saw no bare patches or uneven surfaces. The Superintendent and his/her team is obviously doing an amazing job of
Keeping this course in unbelievable shape and condition. And, the price is right- amazing.
I can’t wait to play here again.
In addition, the clubhouse is very well designed and offers a nice menu of food and drinks.

Let me start by saying I've reviewed dozens of places on Trip Advisor and this is the first 1 star review I've ever given.
This is a yearly stop for us for an annual golf weekend. We have always had a positive experience, until today. Each and every staff member at the course was a delight with the exception of the female Marshall. We were held up every single hole from one through seven and never saw the Marshall. On eight a couple of us were stray with our drives and were searching for our balls when the Marshall appeared and told us we needed to speed up. When we tried to explain that we had been held up for the majority of the round (including prior to the tee shots a couple of us just mis-hit) she was very rude and flippant. She then asked us if we were planning to eat at the turn and we said yes she rudely said “well you better have called the order in” and drove away. On the next hole, she had her cart parked about 100 yards in front of us, with her back to the tee box. We tried hollering for her, but she ignored us. Finally, one of the members of our group hit his drive. It carried 175 yards, nowhere near the Marshall. In an instant (I'm convinced she was waiting for us to hit, so she could berate us) she drove to us and said, "HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF YELLING FORE?!?! LEARN A LITTLE ETIQUETTE!!" We tried to explain that we yelled for her for several minutes, but she drove away in the middle of us talking.
I have played dozens of courses in many states and have never seen a course employee with an attitude like her. Course was beautiful, most employees were nice but the whole experience was soured by one awful employee. We will not be returning.

Surprised we could get on 2 days in a row. Good value at $80. Greens rolled and rolled. Mid week crowd was moderate.

Played course for first time. Was quite pleased. Conditions were very good.. fareways and greens. A Ranger drove around to keep play moving. GPS on Carts. Found deal on Golf Now.. well worth the money. Would return now that we know where to put the ball.

With great anticipation we booked a foursome at the much ballyhooed reopening of the Florida Club. We were Florida Club regulars and waited patiently for the 10 month long facelift to be completed. Not thrilled it’s the $83 green fee we decided to give it a go. As we went from hole to hole we kept waiting to experience the great redo. There were subtle changes along the way. New planting’s, thinning of growth and the fairways and greens were in very good condition - after all nobody has played on them for months. Finally we came to the signature 16th hole. This hole had been reconfigured into an Island green (well almost)). It’s a nice hole with a new challenge. The water around the 18 th fareway had been cleaned up and some trees along the approach to the green have been removed. I know it will take awhile for mew planting’s to mature but over all, we were very underwhelmed. It’s obvious a lot of money was spent on the redo of the clubhouse. I guess their hoping to rent it out for event income. Anyway, surrounding clubs in very decent condition are charging far less. Don’t get me wrong, Florida Club is a really nice course but fees are just too high.

Staff is very courteous and helpful. Course in very nice condition. Play seems to move right along, even with a busy day and foursomes ahead of you. They are closing from May 1st to October 1st to redo entire course. Very reasonable rates compared to other local golf courses.

The Florida Club, golf course. The overall review is in poor shape, must be due to the Florida heat this time of year. The greens and tee boxes really need work.

Our private club has a reciprocal option with the Florida Club during the summer. We have a group of about 32 guys who play there every Monday when our club is closed. Course is in good shape and attractive with a very accessible practice area. Price is $25 for 18 and a cart. Lunch is efficient with a number of simple options (hot dog for $5). Service team is excellent and friendly. The club is located in South Stuart off US .
