My worst golf experience ever! Our group of low handicap players was behind a foursome that left their cocaine wrapper on the second tee. They were hitting the ball all over the place - wonder why? We waited on every shot. Ranger told us to hit into them to move them along. We refused to hit into the group for fear of injuring them. On the 13th hole, we noted the group ahead was suddenly nowhere to be seen. 2 rangers approached our group, told us we were playing slowly and had to skip a hole. It was outrageous because we had waited on every shot until this hole and were then playing our normal, fast paced golf. Since our group plays fast, we recently had been asked to slow our pace of play down at another course. Nevertheless, we skipped a hole for the first time in my 30 years of golfing. Immediately, we caught up to the slow group that was ahead of us and waited on each shot until we finished the round. No rangers were anywhere to be seen after the forced us to skip a hole. After we skipped the hole, there was an open hole behind us and we never saw the group behind us again. That group was obviously a slow group also. The players behind us never waited to hit their shots . Our time for the round was 3 hours and 45 minutes in spite of waiting on every hole we played. We consider that time reasonable. This poor course management is inexcusable. Our experience demonstrated that the rangers and staff at the Florida Club are incompetent. However, the course is pleasant to play and in good shape. Too bad they did not let us play all the holes or put the slow groups on the clock!

This was my first time playing The Florida Club, and the corse was in fantastic shape. Greens, tee boxes, and fairways were all professionally maintained, and in great condition. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the round time for my foursome was 3 hours 50 minutes, with minimal waiting for the players in front of us. The course Ranger came by our group 3 or 4 times monitoring our play, and offered assistance if needed. The golf carts are very nice, and have GPS screens giving distances to pins. The course is a little challenging (water, some narrow fairways, thick grass in some secondary rough areas make finding your ball a challenge), but if you hit the ball straight you'll have no problems here.

Last Friday our extended family gathered for a planned Celebration of Life luncheon at The Florida Club in Stuart, FL. We were looking for a place that had good food and service with a beautiful view that was reasonably priced. We also needed somewhere to accommodate twenty-six of us to gather which had to have easy access from all directions to travel to. I must say we found the perfect place which prompted me to write this glowing review. It checked all the boxes and then some. We were even able to access one of their corner televisions, with their help, to play a rolling slideshow of our loved one throughout the event. Even with a few hiccups from Mother Nature, Jaime the Food and Beverage manager was on top of everything! We initially planned to meet for appetizers out back on the patio however Jaime reached out prior to our arrival to inform us of impending rain and high humidity and recommended setting it all up inside. It was well worth heeding her advice as the skies did open, however it did not place a damper on our event! The white tablecloth set ups were just perfect. The appetizers, amazing. The buffet food was fresh and delicious as well, and the service was wonderful. I can't say enough as to how pleasantly surprised everyone was. Thank you all who helped make this day a wonderful and memorable experience for our entire family. I highly recommend The Florida Club if anyone is looking for a place to hold a future event. The golf course is amazingly maintenanced. And the food is amazing and also the staff are really friendly. I recommend the Buffalo chicken wrap.

Playing this Golf Course is an exercise in futility. There is zero customer service from the time you arrive until the time you leave. Arrogant Pro Shop Personnel and even worse Course Rangers, if you can find one. Did not tee off on time, as they pack way too many people onto the course at the same time. Held up all day and sat in the cart waiting on every shot. What should have been a fun time turned into a 4:40 round from hell. Do not bother to ask for any assistance, as they seem to thrive on confrontation with their guests. Bottom line, avoid this Golf Course.

I have played this course many times since the renovation. The superintendent has done s great job of putting this public golf course in “private club” condition. The greens have been firm, smooth, and very fast. The fairways and tee boxes have been nearly perfect. They recently did extensive maintenance to the whole course. I played it this morning and I am happy to report that the fairways and greens are growing in beautifully. The holes are well designed with a lot variety and the course makes golfers use all their clubs. The entire staff is courteous and professional. The food in the clubhouse restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. Two thumbs up.

I played on a recent early Sunday morning. Upon arriving, the drive into the clubhouse had the feeling of a private club. I checked in at the pro shop which was nicely appointed with various merchandise. The staff was welcoming and helpful
I found the practice areas to be exceptional. The course is amazing. I play at least 40 rounds per year (excluding the summer heat) throughout south Florida. This course is a must play if you enjoy and appreciate a challenging but fair layout and exceptional conditions. The conditions are exceptional. In fact, I played after a day of rain and the course was relatively wet. However, the Superintendent managed it very well by mandating “cart path only” conditions. Very well managed. Despite the rain during the previous day, the course was very playable. The sand bunkers were a little wet but maintained and playable.
The tee-boxes and fairways were like carpets, consistent with very few divots, I saw no bare patches or uneven surfaces. The Superintendent and his/her team is obviously doing an amazing job of
Keeping this course in unbelievable shape and condition. And, the price is right- amazing.
I can’t wait to play here again.
In addition, the clubhouse is very well designed and offers a nice menu of food and drinks.

Let me start by saying I've reviewed dozens of places on Trip Advisor and this is the first 1 star review I've ever given.
This is a yearly stop for us for an annual golf weekend. We have always had a positive experience, until today. Each and every staff member at the course was a delight with the exception of the female Marshall. We were held up every single hole from one through seven and never saw the Marshall. On eight a couple of us were stray with our drives and were searching for our balls when the Marshall appeared and told us we needed to speed up. When we tried to explain that we had been held up for the majority of the round (including prior to the tee shots a couple of us just mis-hit) she was very rude and flippant. She then asked us if we were planning to eat at the turn and we said yes she rudely said “well you better have called the order in” and drove away. On the next hole, she had her cart parked about 100 yards in front of us, with her back to the tee box. We tried hollering for her, but she ignored us. Finally, one of the members of our group hit his drive. It carried 175 yards, nowhere near the Marshall. In an instant (I'm convinced she was waiting for us to hit, so she could berate us) she drove to us and said, "HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF YELLING FORE?!?! LEARN A LITTLE ETIQUETTE!!" We tried to explain that we yelled for her for several minutes, but she drove away in the middle of us talking.
I have played dozens of courses in many states and have never seen a course employee with an attitude like her. Course was beautiful, most employees were nice but the whole experience was soured by one awful employee. We will not be returning.

Surprised we could get on 2 days in a row. Good value at $80. Greens rolled and rolled. Mid week crowd was moderate.

Played course for first time. Was quite pleased. Conditions were very good.. fareways and greens. A Ranger drove around to keep play moving. GPS on Carts. Found deal on Golf Now.. well worth the money. Would return now that we know where to put the ball.
