Um lindo prédio abriga a sede desta universidade. Tanto externa como internamente a arquitetura e a decoração são surpreendentes. Vale uma visita à moderna e aconchegante capela onde há um magnífico órgão. Se puder assista ali a um concerto.

We were visiting our grandson. He took us on a tour of the buildings and sports area. This is a small to medium campus but so beautiful. We were impressed by the cleanliness, the architecture and the foliage. Lots of new buildings. Lots of great restaurants near by.

Wow - what this University has become. So proud to be a graduate . Envious of the students . This campus is like no other in the heart of a great city that might arguably be the finest city in Florida

Visiting our grandson, walked the campus and buildings. Walked through the athletics areas. We were surprised at the beauty and historical feel of the place.

UT is an excellent institution and getting better. Lots of new buildings and facilities. With our teen granddaughter we attended a wonderful introduction talk and then a well organized and informative walking tour of the campus. The leaders were excellent and the information succinct and comprehensive. Seems our granddaughter may have been impressed enough to apply soon!

The campus is nice and the location is also amazing, but do not go here to study.
Do not go to the University of Tampa. There is no sense of community on campus since we do not have a football team and sports in general on campus are not even a thing. No one goes to the stadium to get involved. Most students are lazy and only like to party from Thursday- to Sunday. There is no diversity at all (everyone is from the northeast, specifically Long Island and they are going to judge you if you are not from there) there are just a few organizations to be involved on campus. There are more frats and sororities than true organizations. The food is terrible and I am not picky at all. Food is not fresh and everyone tells you that is disgusting. The university does not have a good reputation within the city and it is worse across the country. It is maybe ranked number 500 in the nation and it is very costly for what they offer. DO NOT GO TO THE UNIVERSITY OF TAMPA. Going here was literally the WORST DECISION OF MY LIFE. You will probably be depressed if you come here.

As. a school counselor I have visited many campuses. Visiting UT was special. There was a pleasant feel from the students, staff and professors on campus. Tampa offers great temperature and UT benefits from it. It helps for. a great place for students to go to school. The professors believe to keep a good relationship with their students. Both parties benefits.
The University of Tampa sits on what used to all be apart of the Tampa Bay Hotel. Although the hotel is closed you can still go enjoy the beauty of the original building as it is now a museum and part of the campus. In the 1930’s the Tampa Bay Hotel had to close its doors, and what was once a place of marvel and elegance soon became a shell of its former glory. The hotel and the majority of its 511 rooms soon became classrooms, except for the west wing of the building which became the Henry B. Plant museum.
The University of Tampa sits on what used to all be apart of the Tampa Bay Hotel. We were there to check out the University. The campus is one of the best. There are many outside areas for relaxing, the people are friendly and overall it has a great vibe.

Drift and gawk through the original building. This is a very serious school, but if you are respectful, you will go undisturbed through the entire building. Modern newer campus is tranquil, but unexciting.

This is a nice place. I visited this one a Sunday so there weren't too many people in the main building. However, there were a lot of people relaxing along the river bank. The campus is well maintained ad you can take some good photos.

Hello - No tours that I know of. Your best bet is to go through the Henry Plant museum. The first exhibit is a 20 minute video that covers the history and architectural choices. Very interesting. Take lots of pictures. Then go over to the students side and observe the youngsters that probably have no clue what the have every day. If you have time walk north towards the river and see the other buildings that most people don't know are there. And finally, take the Pirate water taxi which goes up the river and see these buildings from a different viewpoint. Hope this helps. Mike Gill
