This iconic brewery is definitely worth visiting if you’re fan of craft beer. However, don’t expect much from the kitchen; the food, in our opinion is somewhat disappointing. Definitely a place to imbibe on their well known beers!

If you're used to Jai Alai, Maduro, Florida Man, etc. then I would definitely recommend that you stop in if you're in the area. We did not eat while we were there so I can't speak to their food but the service was good and the beer was better.

As a beer connoisseur I won’t hesitate to say this is some of the best beer in Tampa! Daniel was our Brew-tender and has an amazing knowledge and understanding of the craft! The beer cheese pretzels are the BEST we’ve ever tasted bc this was the Jai-Lai beer cheese .. best on the east coast! We truly enjoyed every single beer Daniel helped us select and we are 100% certain we will be back next time we’re in Tampa!

We had a chance to visit the brewery on our last trip to Tampa and it was a pretty fun place! I had known about Cigar City's beer for a while and had tried a few, but never got to try any of the specialty beers given that we don't live in FL. They have an expansive draft menu, which is great and they do tasters, which is always our favorite way to try a bunch of new beers. The beers were pretty good and I would love to try a bunch more of their beers on a future trip. We didn't get a chance to try the food either, so that's on our list for next time as well!

Stopped in on a Sunday night for dinner and a couple of drinks. Service was friendly, beer was good and our meals were better than expected for a brewery. Not the easiest place to find but worth going for sure. Great selection of beers.

Cigar City is one of the companies that shaped modern American craft beer. They seem less cutting edge than they used to be, but still a great brewery to visit.

The bar guys were SO NICE!!! It seemed like everyone was happy to be working there! We got the soft pretzel appetizer and it was really, really flavorful and delicious.

Kayla waited on us and she was amazing !! Sincerely welcoming, knew her stuff, and was very helpful. If I owned a bar or restaurant, I would recruit her 110%!
We enjoyed the beers we tried and we had a pretzel ap which was good. We would definitely return. It was clean & the host was super friendly and accommodating too.

We had a rehearsal dinner at Cigar City for more than 60 family and friends, from grandparents to babies, and everyone had a great time.
The dining room is spacious, bright and clean. We enjoyed sandwiches, wings, flatbreads, guacamole, and more. Non beer drinkers could order several types of wine, seltzer, sodas, iced tea, etc.
All of the staff were friendly and courteous. We recommend this brew pub for small or large groups. Our event was a hit, we highly recommend Cigar City!
