Walked by the park during my exercise on night one in Tampa. Bit of people watching, skate boarders, folks doing yoga etc. Right by the river.

After going to the Tampa Museum of Art we walked by the river. The walkway was wide and there were many signs and sculptures of famous people along the way. Also a nice playground.

It was fun being at the park toward the end of the Christmas season. It is beautifully decorated. Many people were enjoying the festivities without it being too crowded. There are restrooms available, too.

Unless there is an event going on, there is nothing to see at the park. There is a fountain and some scupltures. Otherwise, there are some booths near the riverwalk to buy food and drinks. There is also an ice skating rink there in the winter.

Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in Tampa is a cool park on the waterfront that has plenty of space to run around and enjoy some fresh air. I really like the open space and places to sit in the park to relax. Everything is well maintained and worth a visit to check out.

When I went it was December and there was a skating rink set up. There were lots of families and also different activities were happening at every time of the day. Great free attraction with the option to shop small vendors by the Riverwalk.

After living in the Clearwater area I finally went to this park. It was the holiday so the parking was easy in the garage at the Straz center. We walked a short distance & thought that was the end but after walking up a slight grade & over the railroad tracks, it continues. It is a beautiful walk along the river with a view of the college & the Tampa buildings. We got to the end where there are chairs in front of a few restaurants & shops. The view is beautiful. We went inside the air conditioned public marketplace toured around & had some lunch.

Tampa always has something going on and Curtis Hixon Park is a hot spot! From free concerts, food truck rallies, seasonal events and more, it is hard to get bored!

The waterfront park was a nice stop along the riverwalk.
Great place where events are held. Decently busy, nice place to sit down and relax and just enjoy the waterfront views or take part in whatever event is going on.

Hello! I am doing a project and need to conduct research to present to a major company in Tampa Bay and would love a quick response on this! If a big company were to host an event in Curtis Hixon park how much would it cost to reserve for the day, (disregarding costs for food and entertainment)? Thank you!

Hello there,
Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park has multiple restrooms. There are two (2) private stalls with sinks next to the playground area. In the pavilion area by the park office the women's restrooms has five (5)stalls (1 handicap) and the men's has two (2) urinals and two (2) stalls (1 handicap).

There is a public parking garage close to the water pad that is close to the street. Most of this area is paved and you can get around easily. Handicapped folks can also park on the street for free with a handicapped parking hangar. There is a second water pad closer to the river. There is a paved sidewalk all the way down, but it is further away from the parking garage.
