Meh, saw it in a 30 second visit, which was 15 seconds too long but unique for sure. No free nearby parking which made the visit more difficult than it should have been.

Oh, just go see Bucky. It takes 5 minutes, but he’s a treasure. We stopped by after having dinner at VIP Mexican (highly recommend). My 7 year old and my husband both got a big kick out of him. I love all the retro buildings in treasure island and Bucky used to be on top of a 1950s motel here. If you have littles, take the 5 minutes to pop by and say hi.

This is just a statue of a pirate and a treasure chest. Unless you go on a Friday, there is a nice open market 10 -2.

Once I learned that Bucky had a backstory I felt a little sad that he only had 3 stars. He is part of the history of Treasure Island and only worth a visit if you are interested in that sort of stuff

Took photos in front of Bucky the Pirate, but unless you have young children, even then, there isn’t much fun with the statue. We can say we were there, about it!

I looked up things to do in Treasure Island and Bucky came up. It happened to be really close to the hotel I was staying at so we decided to check it out. We took a few pictures, that was it. The most disappointing thing was that we had to pay for parking. If it's close by, sure, go take your picture, but I wouldn't go too far out of your way to see it.

I love roadside attractions. This one was something of a let down. The main problem is he's in the middle of a city park with no easy way to park and get to him. There is no actual walkway to him, so you have to schlep through the park.
