Art Deco is one of my favorites! It was raining on our way to the botanical gardens and looking for something to do indoors we ran into this exhibit. What a gem!

The recent exhibit of classic cars was superb- rolling works of art in perfect condition. The narrative was well written.

We had a very poor experience at this small art museum. We brought our kids and while the small kids area was fun and interactive when my son and I went and tried to see the exhibit we were in for a shock. My son pointed at a painting (we were about 3-4 feet away) and the security man ran over at us and screamed at him for touching the painting. He absolutely didn’t and I said he did not touch it he pointed to it and the man yelled at us yes he did! He proceeded to stare and follow us around the entire exhibit . Such absolute poor behavior towards a customer - they clearly acted like they didn’t want kids there . We were the only ones and my son was devastated at being yelled at. Completely unprofessional and inappropriate. Will not be going again

It is a really nice museum. Beautiful building, nice park grounds, very attentive staff. What this museum needs is more art. As I understand, the museum's permanent collection is very small - essentially two rows of paintings on two opposite walls. There is an ample exhibition space, but this space is used for changing exhibitions. I was unlucky to visit the museum between the exhibitions, and it was hardly worth one hour drive. Very kindly, there was no charge to visit the museum between the exhibitions and some of the available paintings from the permanent collection were really interesting, yet it was a disappointment. Unfortunately, it is not clear from the museum Web site that there is not much to see beyond the exhibitions. If you are planning a visit, check whether there is an exhibition and whether it is something you are interested. I will be watching for the coming exhibition and hope to drive again if there is an interesting one.

Clean, well kept little museum that is good to kill a couple of hours on a rainy day. Wish they would get some more interesting exhibits more often. Gift shop is nice but expensive and sells more knick knacks than art-related items.

When we walked in we were greeted so warmly and asked if we would like to join the docent tour which we did. You sure don't receive such welcoming from the museums in the Connecticut area. Must be the warmth of environment.
The docent was excellent and you always learn so much from them when they are good. visiting a museum is like choosing a perfume, you can't take too, too much in because you can get overwhelmed. We enjoyed ourselves very much.

A beautiful building with nothing uniques except the building snd grounds. grounds which are lovely.

I udyss as Lou go there to a charity event. The grounds are quite lovely with a great garden area . A restaurant snd a nice gift store.
They have some interesting shied several times a year that are worthwhile snd sometimes something in the auditorium .

Didn't realize there was a quality art museum near the Space Coast and in Vero Beach until I stumbled upon things to do in Vero Beach on Trip Advisor. After reading the reviews and pictures, decided to drive down from Melbourne Beach to check it out. I'm glad I did and was surprise by the collection, while small and limited, it was also nice to experience. I've been to other art museums in larger cities in Florida, but I thought VBMA held its own and maybe better.

From classes to exhibitions - VBMA aims to inspire, educate and entertain. The museum is a cultural gem. The property is gorgeous as well. Lovely place to walk around and enjoy outdoor sculpture.
