The pontoon boat ride is excellent - be sure to book ahead; it only goes out with minimum 6 people. We saw a zillion birds, all identified by the guides and captain. The boat stopped to watch groups of dolphins play. I’d go again in a different cycle to see the wildlife.

Amazing and memorable kayaking excursion with Marc. I had a friend and colleague visiting from Ethiopia and she'd never been kayaking before. We spent 2 fun filled and educational hours with Marc as our guide. He helped my friend get comfortable with paddling and she/we had the best experience. It was fun and educational. Will be signing up again with friends who will be visiting in December. We could tell Marc truly enjoys what he does and I left thinking about what I can do to ensure we do not lose any more of our precious and beautiful environment/water ways.

A really great place to visit with our toddler. He loves their Discovery station with fun kid friendly exhibits and outdoor space to run around. Highly recommend it for a mellow but fun and educational family trip.

Just go! ELC offers fun for all…. Gain environmental insights, kayak, participate in arts and crafts….support local “green efforts”… definitely take advantage of the holiday Canoe rides at dusk…the Christmas lights are magical in the mangroves.

Enjoyed a wonderful kayak tour with Mark. He was super knowledgeable! Took us into the mangroves where we would not have ventured into unguided. Highly recommend!

We went kayaking yesterday as a last minute group activity. Mark helped get everything ready for us and was super helpful! The little shop had some cute stuff and they do kid camps and education classes there also. The mangroves were really cool to kayak through and the trail is marked. We will define do it again and recommend it as a fun family activity.

My wife is a scientist and a science teacher. We enjoy hiking and while this is a short walk, it attracted her. We enjoyed seeing the butterflies, birds, geckos and even a tortoise. A lot of the walk is very comfortable along boardwalks, but some is packed dirt. There are great placards all along the paths with great information for young and old minds. Some nice locations with great views. Many photo ops throughout the walk depending upon your desires. Clean comfortable restrooms. Ample parking when we visited. All of the staff were pleasant and informative. We encountered several during our walk and had questions each time. Very well run facility. Highly recommended.

Kayak rental from ELC was quick and easy. Marc, who got us situated, was very friendly and full of suggestions on where to go and what we could see on our journey. It was fun to walk the grounds after our two hours exploring the surrounding areas by kayak. Reasonable rental prices and helpful staff make this a great location for outdoor exploration!

We enjoyed taking the trails, but the best part was the little area to take pictures with the butterflies and the touch tank. They have a volunteer to tell you about the sea life and our child found it fascinating. Next time we would rent a kayak or take the pontoon boat ride. Easy to get to as well!
