Paddles by the Sea is a fantastic operation. The highlight of my stay at the Holiday Inn. They offer beach chairs and umbrellas by the water for all day. Trey was one of the nicest and kindest people I have ever met. He took some great photos of my dog and I at the beach which I so appreciated. They are at other hotels on Vero Beach as well. Check them out for sure when you stay!! Jane Solar

I made a last minute request to join Paddles by the Sea for the snorkeling tour of a sunken ship off Vero Beach. Dante not only accommodated my request despite being sold out for my stay, he made sure I had all the information I needed to join them the next day. The tour was led by Chey and Trey who were knowledgeable and friendly. It was a highlight of my trip and looking forward to doing one of their lagoon tours when I'm back.

I rented lounge chairs with umbrella. The representative was very nice and very accommodating. Highly recommend. He made sure I had veto needed.

Dante and his team provided outstanding service for our Kayak adventure to the sunken ship off the coast of Vero Beach. This is our second trip to Vero Beach in the past few months and both times we chose to visit Paddles by the sea because we were confident they would not disappoint.

We had a great time, saw manatees, eagles, egrets, porpoise. 4 of us in tandem kayaks and 1 guide, Dana. She was very knowledgeable.

Took the Sunset Kayak Trip with Dana and it was excellent. She maneuvered a diverse group (32-71 year olds) with minimal kayaking experience (except for one) very well. We had a delightful, relaxing trip, saw lots of wildlife and just had fun. Reservation process was seamless and staff work together well. And, Dana took wonderful pictures for great memories!

Four of us enjoyed paddle boarding. The service was great - friendly people, generous amount of time on the paddle boards. Saw one manatee (first week of November). Last year we paddle boarded down by Wabasso through the Environmental Learning Center (ELC). No boat traffic there, lots of marine life. It was awesome.

Kayaked today with Caleb, super easy reservation process and they accommodated a last minute change to my reservation without issue. Caleb had great knowledge of local wildlife and pointed out animals I hadn’t seen before with interesting facts, a gorgeous day of kayaking and sightseeing with a great guide. Thanks for an awesome adventure, will definitely return!

Kayaking was something I always wanted to try. At 60 yrs old I finally did and really enjoyed it. Paddles by the Sea has a great set up and friendly, helpful staff.

We went kayaking for one hour. It was quite relaxing. The dock to get in and out of the kayak is very accessible for all- super easy. The staff was helpful and booking was simple.

Are dogs allowed on the kayaks?

Hello! We do allow dogs on paddle boards and kayaks. All we ask is that you bring a life jacket for them. Coast Guard has dogs in the same category as children, they both must wear life jackets. Makes sense since most people consider them children anyway. We do have a large life jacket we leave there for our Golden Retriever, you're welcome to use that if it will fit yours

Hello!
The kayak guided tours are $50 per person, children that ride-along are free. They last 2 hours and go through the Indian River Lagoon in Vero Beach. We provide all the gear you’d need for the tour: kayak, Paddles, life vest, waterproof phone case, sunscreen and a bottle of water. Your tour guide will all be your photographer and email you the photos after the adventure.
