The Ann Norton Sculpture gardens were first developed in 1977. They also hold events in the area. It’s covered in bushes and trees. Excellent.

Was an interesting art. Exhibit, sculptures are outside. Sculptures are all made of brick which is interesting and unique. Student cost was seven dollars. Military was 20% off regular price. The home has artwork in it. You also get to go into her studio, which is a separate building was interesting will go back. I went by myself and it took about 45 minutes.

My sister was visiting from out of town and I had heard of it but had never been there. What a delightful surprise! They also host other artists, both sculpture and paint/print indoors, so the offerings change. The Garden is beautiful, shady and densely planted with rare and unusual palms, and layered with orchids. You also can see her studio and models plus pictures of her. What a dynamo she must have been!!

Interesting history of Florida artist. Present exhibit of vegetables is kind of strange. The photo exhibit was neat. Welcoming front desk.

Great sculpture garden. Enjoyed the experience. Spend an hour plus to have the time to really see and enjoy the extensive art works here.

This was my first visit and I would highly recommend it if you enjoy looking at tropical gardens and large sculptures. Special piece of West Palm history. I visited during the Bradley Theodore exhibit which was enjoyable. Great activity on a beautiful day.

The Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens (ansg.org) is located in a residential neighborhood and partially housed in the home Ann Norton lived in with her husband Ralph Norton a wealthy business man and art collector. The grounds are generous and Norton built a large studio on the property behind the home.
The gardens are filled with Norton's work, much of which are massive brick - cubist inspired pieces. There is one major piece that is a grouping of people that is more literal and figurative.
The landscape work is beautiful and immaculately maintained - better than some botanical gardens.
Inside the home, on the first floor, they had a show that was predominately paintings. The home serves strictly as gallery, entry, and offices it is not set up to show how the Norton's lived. We would have liked to seen a history and pictures of Norton and her husband to put context around the site and to learn more about Ann Norton as a person and sculpture.
The cost of admission was $15 per person. Their were no tours, guides or docents.
I would recommend the Ann Norton Sculpture Garden to art lovers, sculpture lovers, and people that like well maintained very small gardens. Others may not enjoy this place or feel the cost is justified.

I absolutely loved this small museum and outstanding sculpture garden. Ann Norton’s sculpture studio was fascinating to see and wander around. Everything was so beautiful and artful. I’ve been to the Norton Museum many times so this was a treat to see their home and artist space.

What an education for me! So much to learn about palms and cycads plus the restored monumental sculptures of Ann Norton were stunning. A diminutive woman with colossal ideas. I enjoyed strolling around the garden and chancing upon sculptures, a meditation pond, a reflective pool, and just an overall peaceful, tranquil place. Nancy the receptionist was gracious, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. A very pleasant experience.

It is not a big place... depending on your pace it could be seen in a period of 30 minutes to an hour.

I plan on visiting the garden with my camera solo. I was 60 in April - is admission $15.00? That seems pricey to me?

Agree that everyone will experience differently. The costs of maintaining the house and gardens must be significant. (See mission below.) Considering that in the tri-state area a senior discount ticket to see a movie is about $13, the Garden admission seemed reasonable.
MISSION AND VISION
Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens to preserve the gardens as an outdoor setting for sculpture works, which will also benefit the biological chain of plants, wildlife, wild animals, and birds which inhabit or seasonally migrate to the area. The corporation will discourage use of poisonous sprays or insecticides within its property, except in the event of invasive diseases or plagues, etc., which may endanger the immediate or long-term well-being of said plants, birds, animals, and other wildlife.
To create a green area of indigenous and imported vegetation closely adjoining an area zoned for high-density population. A rare palm collection will be the special garden theme. The area will be managed to maintain a health-giving, life-giving ecological source of benefit to the citizens of the adjacent and surrounding communities, in order to further the common good and welfare of the people in those communities. They shall be entitled to visit the museum and grounds on payment of an admission fee during established open hours, and for special events as planned by the Board of Trustees and the Gardens staff.

The Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens’ vision for the future of the organization is to build lasting community stewardship that honors the integrity and intentions of its founder, Ann Norton, by continuing to follow its mission and the “Principles for the Gardens”.

I don't believe so. You should go on their website to see if they have any special events where they might have something at night.
This is not too large a venue. However, I think it is better seen in the daylight.
