Clematis Street is a very lively street in West Palm beach. Very busy at night time with many bars and restaurants. Feels safe.

Good food and great atmosphere along the street and the area with a nice waterfront and there are pay to park lots and a parking garage so parking is no problem.

Rua charmosa no centro de West Palm Beach, ideal para uma caminhada... cheia de restaurantes, bares, sorveterias e loja de souveniers. Bem arborizada e bonita. Nos arredores tem vários estacionamentos.

The street has many fine eateries and bars. Lynora's Kitchen located at the beginning of Clematis is a great restaurant with a fantastic lunch special during the weekdays.
Unfortunately, Clematis has its share of street people that are mainly west of Olive. Recommend staying east of Olive (gives you only one block though).

Can get quite pricey so I suggest happy hour between 4-7 most days in some of the restaurants is your best bet. It’s nothing special as an area if I’m honest, it’s no Duval Street, just a small collection of restaurants serving largely over priced drinks, but we still went there, ate, drank and had a decent time!

Bounty of restaurants to choose from in Downtown West Palm. Downfall is obvious: the parking. And there is a fee. Wish Clematis had at least a few boutique clothing stores, but we go to City Place for that anyway so no biggie. Overall, we always make it a nice, enjoyable outing when visiting there.

Great place to go for a walk and soak in the atmosphere and grb a meal, especially at night. Lots of choices to eat and drink at.

We went to Clematis to see how it’s changed over the years - I grew up in the area. We were lucky to stumble upon Kurafuto where we had a fantastic meal!! The pomegranate margaritas were tasty and not too sweet. The calamari was tender and cooked in strips with a light sauce, not your usual frozen, batter covered rings. I had the lobster sushi roll which came with a side of light tempura lobster and my husband had the curried duck. We were both so happy! Then we had the fried bananas and ice cream with which I was pleasantly surprised. The service and the food were excellent. Walk a little farther west on Clematis past the crowds. Don’t miss this gem!

Dear Renie D: Why are there so many homeless people in WPB area, they are always looking for money/food, etc. There are too many, when i was there several homeless men, especially (black men) who have no money, i would guess? Kept wanting me to buy or wanted my chicken and mashed potatoes at Publix grocery store. They have so much security in the area it is not normal,

You're speading misinformation, the place is littered with mostly NON-BLACK vagrants, addicts, and homeless. Florida's opioid crisis created a wave of younger white addicts. You see it every time you get off an I-95 exit. These people are younger, able-bodied, and can clearly work but they prefer handouts. I see a few old blacks around Clematis sleeping in the sidewalks but the panhandlers and street people hustling for money are overwhelmingly white and non-black. Next time you're driving around notice who's holding up the cardboard signs.

Yes u hear music at outside seating. Clematis usually pretty busy and interesting. Weather in 70's this time of year.
