I went to see Tracy Morgan. The man is simply not funny. Terrible. Worst I’ve ever seen. Disgusting. As for the Improv, your crammed in like a sardine and paying ridiculous amount of money for mandatory drinks.

Glasses of wine are $8-12, which is reasonable. Wine sangrias do not show a price on the menu, and we we charged $22 for each glass, which is very sneaky. Morever, they did not come in souvenir glasses nor were 2 free passes to a future show included. The only reason we went was to see Vic DiBitetto, who was great.

Comedy great but $$$. 2 drink Minimum. Bar food was typical. Food came out fast
and hot. Seasoned fries are good.
Get there at least 20 minutes before show start. Park in an Area Parking Ramp, no place else, period!
Travis was our Server, great service, drinks out quickly. Comedy was over the top good. We saw Anthony and MC Comedy was also great.
Almost a full house. No harassments from Audience, this night.
Restrooms available, could be a little more clean.
Show almost 2 hours total. Loved the Meet and Greet.

trust me, don't go. Some comedians are funny, but a good experience is just as important as the comedy. The service at this location is non-existent...a great comedian can't make up for terrible apathetic service.

Attended the early show on February 2nd. After about a 10 minute delay the initial act come out and wasn't that bad but we were keen to see main act. What happened next was another local act come out with no mention of mainliner. After about 15 minutes and given the act was simply not the best, my wife indicated we should leave which we did. On the way out I stopped at the box office and complained. At this point it was 8:06PM and they said he will be on stage shortly, although the next show was 9PM and it takes a good 30 minutes to seat everyone, so his show could have been only minutes. What upset us the most was the lack of communication. No announcements nothing to indicate a delay or issue. Not very professional and I won't be back.

Usually I go only to the low doe shows but I was in town and tickets were $40 each. Little steep but I needs a laugh. Had our 2 drinks and a 2 apps bill came to $140 plus the $95 tickets was a very expensive night out for 2. Comic was ok.

Watch your bills at the end of the night. Jonathan was our server and he couldn't have messed up our individual checks for four, worse. General manager was no help in sorting out the issues and determining how we were all charged the wrong amounts. Felt like they do this all the time. Won't be back.

I would think timeliness would be part of the contract!! This is the second time I have had this dreadful experience at this venue, of the 10+ times at this venue. I have attended at least 70 comedy shows throughout the US, at probably 10+ different venues, and at least 1,000 events (concerts, sporting events, theatre, orchestras, opera, etc.) and this is the ONLY venue that allows events to begin an hour or more LATE. They request you arrive half an hour before showtime, and after waiting in line outside 45 minutes AFTER posted showtime they begin to let patrons into the venue.
The early show headliner was different than the late show headliner. First show ran late - not my problem!! Management needs to kick early show headliner off the stage at the appropriate time to allow for the second show to begin somewhat promptly. The late show patrons should not have to be punished for the early show running late.
I have no issue with something running 10-15 minutes late, but this is the 2nd time they have run OVER AN HOUR LATE. I absolutely hate to sound racist, but I will no longer attend this venue when performers of a particular race are performing.
I gave it a "3' rating because on most occasions, this venue does a good job, but after experiencing this a 2nd time at this venue, buyer beware!!!

Reasonably priced for such a well-known star, the Improv is a franchise club. Seating is...interesting. Couples are seated on opposite sides of long rows of tables for two pushed together.This led to an excellent proximity to the stage, though, and close quarters with other patrons is unavoidable for crowded shows.We had a friendly waitress, but the comic noted that others didn't seem so enthusiastic! Two-drink minimum seems standard in clubs, and the drink selection interesting and varied, priced average. Do yourself a favor and order a double. Nice washrooms and lobby.

We were at the Improv last year and had a great time. Paul Mercurio was very funny. Yesterday we went and saw Nikki Glaser. Not a fan of her humor. I did not need an hour on how she HAS to have sex and what things she does with a partner. (I cleaned that up for you). Found her kind of sad, actually.
We were seated behind a reserved table of 4, they never showed. I had to move my seat forward because the air conditioner leaked on me. I would see another show, but not one of Nikki's.

What is difference between general admission and VIP.... just reserved seating?

Closer to the stage. No matter when you sit you are butt-to-butt with your neighbors. If you're in the center section you'll be at a big long table chair-to-chair where you look to the left or right to see the stage (we were in that kind of seating). Seats up the steps were better located, even though further away, b/c they were 4-tops. But you have to wedge yourself between the tables. You'll be packed in tight wherever you sit.
Very important! I purchased tickets for a show at Ft lauderdale improve then later they added VIP tix.... Do that do that for WPB aswel?!?! I'd hate to buy general then miss out on VIP!!!!
