Finally got a chance to check out this theatre and saw 39 Steps. Absolutely loved the play, but was really impressed by the very nice and fairly new theatre. Definitely will be back to see another show!

It was a very nice location. Easy to get in easy to get out. The parking was fantastic. The restrooms and the facility were outstanding.

Went to see Winter dance Party on the 9th. The show featured the music of Buddy Holley, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper. What a great show that had folks dancing at their seats and in the aisles. Most enjoyable evening in a first class facility.

Very nice, great seats for the whole theater! Does have a nice part of the Buford history to view to see for free too. Great pre-view of history. Will visit again

For shows that may not be sell outs, look for discounted tickets on Goldstar. You may be able to get them for half of normal pricing available thru the BCC site. You just won't be able to pick your seat. But with the theatre being so small, there really isn't a bad seat anyway.
For almost every event we've seen, the artists were waiting in the foyer afterwards for photos and autographs. With parking being free, its a great place for an inexpensive and low hassle entertaining evening.

Have gone to almost every play, etc., that the BCC has put on. It is a top notch place to go. The S Beard Theater is just so intimate, every seat is the best. Just hope they can get another theater group in there so they continue live theater. There is nothing like it.

The Community Center has concerts on the lawn, plays, comedy, magic, music and mentalists acts in the theater, and the history of Buford, with a fun fountain appeal for kids, and one of the most photographed areas in town for prom goers, all in one place. In April it also hosts The Barefoot in the Park Art Festival one weekend. As mentioned by another reviewer, parking and handicapped access is good.

I recently saw The Barefoot Movement ( a bluegrass group) here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The theater is nice & intimate with wonderful acoustics. I will definitely be going back.

parking is adequate including handicap access and an elevator, small venue but very charming includes a concession and a museum of the city's artifacts
