Beautiful and I would imagine historical. Nice place for pics. you could picnic there, a few tables are out. Inside was closed. It would have been nice to see a historical marker or plaque explaining the history of the grounds. Had a nice walk and some photos.

My Son and Fiance had pics made there yesterday (June 2020) and the house was infested with wasps and ticks. Pls. we aware. One got stung.

Beautiful Waterfall and Mill.
You can picnic, fish, sightsee.

Very basic premise-picnic tables and fishing spot right off the road. The mill is not operational and there is not much to do here other than a photo opp. Portapotty and trash bins available.

While in the area we stopped in at Starr's Mill. It is the go to location to take wedding photos, prom pictures......etc.
It is a small park and entry is free. If your in the area stop in take some photos if for no other reason other than to say you have been there.

I am only 1 mile from the mill but never heard of anyone having a wedding there but think it would be possible. Cannot get inside the mill, just view from deck. Might get more info by trying to contact Fayette County Parks and Recreation. Good Luck.
