The owner is very friendly and will go above and beyond to help you find what you need. He offers samples and you can order online when your vacation is over.

We stopped in here while walking around the town of Helen. We were immediately greeted, and offered samples. Jason was very friendly, and even turns out we have a mutual friend back in Gulf Shores! He helped my husband pick out a delicious jerky, and I bought some of the Alien roadkill jerky for my jerky loving daughter back home! Will def be back!

I left this shop shaking because we were treated so horribly and with such little respect. When my boyfriend and I tried to pay with a card, we were scolded and yelled at for not spending more money. Instead of imposing a card minimum, he waited for us to pay and yelled at us for wasting his time. I do not recommend this shop.

We stopped because of the hot sauce sign but ended up buying chocolate truffles. We were given several samples to help us decide, they were all good. The price for truffles is much less than Hansel and Gretel’s. Stop by for free tastes then take some home with you!!

We were greeted with a friendly hello by a nice gentleman. The Jerky Snack Shack offers a wide variety of treats. I opted for traditional jerky and was not disappointed. I recommend this place to anyone interested in jerky and/or flavored nuts.

Went here in October fest. The “house “ jerky was very strong. To much pepper. Didn’t like it. Tried to give it away and it was a no thank you. Overall the shop keeper was extremely friendly. Thank you for your service.

I had a little trouble finding the place since it isn't properly signed but once I was inside it was absolutely amazing! The décor is perfect, the free samples are plentiful, and the service is top notch.
The nuts are amazing, the jerky is the best you'll ever have, and the hot sauce selection is top notch. The prices are reasonable from more expensive jerky to the cheaper "jerky for less".
This was one of the most fun things I did while I was here and will gladly go back again for the brisket jerky!

We walked in and were immediately greeted with a smile and a hello. After a couple questions about our taste, we were offered samples of a few selections and ended up buying a few. Not into the exotic or gamey meats but if you are, then there is quite the selection available

This is a great place for jerky lovers but it also has sauces and delicious treats. You can sample most of what you can buy. The man behind the counter was knowledgeable and helped us with our selection. Our family would recommend all of the Smoky Mountain Trail Grub, which is made by the owner. We will be going back before heading home to stock up!
