Did this float with my adult kids. I imagine it was over and hour and this water was very cold...but we had tubes with bottoms. Nice relaxing float..enjoyed it. Saw a duck family, turtles and several old cars along the banks. Staff was friendly and affordable activity near our cabin. Shuttles were fast. Parking can be a challenge. Staff was great as one lady fell in at the take out and screamed for help and at least 2 employees jumped in to help her.

Floating down the river in a tube was relaxing with a little adventure. There were a few small rapids but not too hard. A stick
was helpful to push away from the bank or rocks.

My family and I went for a 5 mile white water rafting trip and our guide was Les. I felt completely safe and was given important information in a very understand and plausible way. It was a lot of fun and the jokes and experience was overall a 10/10.

Great river tubing adventure for the family.
The whole experience took more than an hour.
One thing I recommend if you go with your family with minors which I completely forgot to bring , was some kind of rope to connect the tubes together. We literally had to hold on to each other’s tubes the whole time.
I’m not sure if the waiver is online but if it is, I suggest you fill them up prior to arrival. Saves you time.
After filling up the waivers and paying , you go ahead and pick and choose your life vest then fall in line to get on the bus which will take you to the drop off area few miles up the river. The driver loads up all the tubes in the bus. I say they could improve the pace on this by having an extra hand to help the driver in this task. It will definitely save everybody some time.
It was painful (so to speak) watching this slow process going on but I guess I just needed to chill and wait.
Another suggestion is to give this experience a lot of time. We had a reservation for horse back riding in three hours so that made me antsy.
We paid $15 pp in this adventure. There was another company very close to this place. I suggest you check it out if the price is cheaper. They’re all the same river tubing experience.

Tubes with or without bottoms, inflated or hard plastic kayaks available. You can rent sticks to push off rocks without getting off tubes. 3 or 6 mile trips through easy and shallow water with occasional 4-8 inch drops. Life jackets provided but optional to use. We rented tubes for 3 mile trip and it lasted about 3 hours. Don't forget sunscreen. We will definitely do it again.

A group of 13 family members enjoyed the short trip down the river which took about 2 hours. The cost was $10 per person on a Sunday afternoon. We had a wonderful time. The employees were friendly and made sure the younger kids in our group had a closed bottom raft with a back. Everyone is required to have a life jacket which they provide. There are a couple of small rapids but nothing scary. If you want to tie the rafts together, you should bring your own rope as they were out on the day we were there. We were able to use a cooler raft to carry beverages and flip flops, as some of us forgot our water shoes.

Our family planned a tubing adventure that included 2 adults, a 17 yr old, a 15 yr old & a 5 yr old. After checking out reviews for several places we decided to go with Toccoa River Tubing Company and we are so glad we did. Everyone was friendly, prices were reasonable & our driver Nick was amazing. He was very informative, professional & polite. The facilities exceeded our expectations. Bathrooms are well maintained & clean. The changing rooms are also well maintained & big. Equipped with a bench, ceiling fan & lighting. We had soooo much fun & will be back soon.

We did the 1.5 mile tubing run for $8 a person which was very reasonable for a family of 5. There is a 3 mile option for $15 per person but it takes about 3 hours to complete. The water was beautiful and the scenery even better. There were a few larger rocks and some currents but for most of the 90 minutes it takes it is a slow, peaceful ride. Definitely recommend it for families with kids.

It depends on which trip you do the short trip on tube is $ 8
The 3 mile is 15. 00. When the river is down generally in the mornings the 3 mile takes 3 hours. When the dam, is released which is a better trip it takes 1-1/2 he trip The water temp is usually a balmy 58° and feels great on these hot summer days.
