M Woody, we are glad you enjoy our wine, and we genuinely appreciate your business. Because the safety of our customers and our team is important to us, we are consistent about following the CDC guidelines. This currently includes wearing a mask and keeping a distance of 6 feet. We understand how confusing it can be when restaurants have different guidelines to follow compared to a winery like ours, which is housed in a small structure that was originally a barn. For this reason, we are upfront in communicating our safety protocols through our website and onsite signage. Your group’s extended visit and continued purchases gave us the impression you were enjoying your time in our wide open green spaces. Given this, we were surprised when you came inside our small, enclosed back porch without a mask and began yelling at us about our mask policy - and threatening to spread the word for others not to visit because of it. We hope you can understand the positive intent behind our safety efforts, as we all want to move beyond this pandemic one day soon.
